Great location, good breakfast, great views of the bay

Everything was perfect ,Reception ,My room with a view on 15.th floor ,Jazz night at the lobby ( No music charge for hotel customers ) ,location ( restaurants,coffees around ,Price was reasonable ,Award winner restaurant at the roof ( Mikla ) .3 fast elevator ..the only problem is car parking ,If you leave to the valet ok but if you want to park by yourself electrical cars is not allowed at their garage ..I will definitely come again .Thanks ❤️❤️😻

Clean rooms Staff, Mustafa and Mehmet were very helpful.

Great hotel, centrally located. There’s a train station not too far away, local attractions are a short walk away. The staff are friendly and ready assist with anything. It’s always wonderful to be greeted by Mustafa-the house keeper, he makes sure rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is amazing, a great spread of breads, salads and cheese. Big shout to Asma who makes the best omelettes, always with a smile and she remembers you following day too:) We couldn’t experience the pool as it was closed, they have a lovely restaurant on the roof top with great views of the city.

I don’t like the areas bc I have problems with the parking

The room was clean with great views over the marmara sea and towards the asian side. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. There’s robes and slippers. The shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and lotion were all zero parabens and zero soap. We weren’t able to use the pool as it was already cold and they have closed it for the season now. We did not include breakfast with our booking as we intended to eat out for most of the stay. The location of the hotel is just one street away from istiklal street and a few minutes walk to the galata tower and area which is so busy and buzzing at night. Amazing as its very close to everything. The karakoy tram to get to sultanahmet is also short walking distance downhill. Great stay. Will be back again, hopefully when there is a bosphorus view room available.

A very nice hotel. İt is walking distance from everything. Also, it is located next to metro station. The room was very clean and it had amazing views of İstanbul. The breakfast was very good.

Staff could be friendlier

Convenient for restaurants, bars and shops as well as public transport.

Its located on awesome location. Fikriye maid lady was the best!!

A very pleasant week

Great view and location. Some attention to detail was lacking as we had multiple body washes and no shampoo in our room. It’s quite loud in the area and some of that sound carries into the room but it wasn’t to the point where it affected our sleep. Overall a good stay.

The location was nice right next to the shopping area which is a big plus. But at night, may also be noise because of the bars nearby. And for our stay the WiFi in the room didn’t work properly. The swimming pool at the top was quite winding, and small.

The photos on the website and Google are not real and have been manipulated. In my opinion, they are photoshopped. The location was not suitable at all. It was very far from Taksim Square and there was no proper or pleasant way to walk. The staff’s behaviour was not good at all. When we arrived, they were outside the hotel smoking. This hotel is of very low quality and old. The curtains were very dirty, dusty, wrinkled, and even torn. The floor of the room was dirty and smelled bad. The toilet and bathroom were very old and of low quality. There was a gap in the entrance door of the room, so people could see inside. Even the smallest sounds came into the room, including the sound of the toilet from the next room. People are not sleeping inside this hotel!! Not suitable for a family at all. Breakfast was very poor: They were cutting fruit next to the gas stove, which didn’t look good and wasn’t hygienic. In dishes like beans, they used small spoons which fell inside and became dirty. Some of the kitchen staff were very rude, some didn’t speak English, and they didn’t respect each other. The chairs were all stuck together, not suitable for a two-person couple, and the space was not used well. We didn’t feel comfortable. We left the hotel after just 5 hours. It was one of my bad experiences in 22Y. The most generous score I can give is 3 out of 10. Overall, it’s a 2-star hotel. Maybe in this season, $40 per night could be reasonable, but I still don’t recommend it.

Wonderful everything was amazing

I always stay in Marmar Pera. And will stay again. i gave it good not excellent this time due to The following: - the room was not cleaned properly. The side tables and window banks stayed stained from drinks - the taxi to the airport: I understand that the employees try to make a leaving. I am feequent and I know the prices. When I asked to get me a taxi because leaving early morning one told me it is fix price 1400 TL the other said 1600 TLZ i know it is not fix and according the to meter at that time max 1200 TL. It is not good for high end hotel. - the rooms need a facelift But also had to say got a fantastic upgrade. Service in general great. Location and view from room or roof swimming pool amazing as well as the breakfast.
