We had such a wonderful stay at The Marmara Pera! Not only is the location perfect—walking distance to so much of Istanbul—but what truly set this hotel apart was the incredible hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at home. I was traveling with a small dog and they really spoiled her with all kinds of goodies and treats.
A special thank you to the manager and especially to Kübra, who truly went above and beyond. It was all the little details—from the Turkish delights delivered to our room to finding duct tape when my suitcase was falling apart—that made this stay unforgettable. Anytime we needed something, Kübra and the team were right there with a solution and a smile.
Our room had breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and waking up to that view each morning felt like a dream. The thoughtful touches, the warm service, and those views combined to create one of our most memorable hotel stays anywhere. Don’t forget to check out heir rooftop pool and incredible breakfast buffet.
Highly recommend The Marmara Pera—we can’t wait to come back!

I had a suite with fantastic 180 degree views of all that matters in Istanbul. However, lighting was very poor, bathroom was impractical i.e. no shower curtain, the sink was too cramped, drain was clogged. Internet was intermittent, coffee machine partially worked and the staff, though friendly and pleasant , had very poor command over English and forgetful, one had to remind them again and again for same request for coffee pods or water in the room. Over all hotel has aged and needs major renovation and staff training.

Close walking distance to everything! The busy and big shopping Main Street as well as the cute quiet quaint streets with less tourists. There was a little bit of everything here. Walls are a bit thin, so if your neighbor is an early riser you might be too. Staff were all so friendly and kind.

We've stayed here a few times. It's nice for the money if you can find a deal. Rooms were clean but could be in better shape for a 4-star. A rewards program would be nice. Overall very good stay.

The rooms are quite small, and the staff could be more helpful. The smell in the rooms is quite unpleasant, and the condition could be better. The pictures online don’t really give a fair representation of the rooms.

The hotel is in the best location of Istanbul perfect place to reach any thing you wish for !!! The hotel staff are amazing very friendly, helpful, great team .The rooms are very clean they clean them every day , so is whole the hotel . The breakfast is very well made ,very good service same with dinner menu very good food .This is my forth time staying in this hotel i love this hotel it is amazing , for me is like going to a second home .Thank to all the staff for there great hospitality ,and there great service , hopefully I will see back again soon xxx

It is a convenient location, especially for the first timers in İstanbul.
We booked a room with sea view but it was more looking at slums, tiny little sea view was not satisfying although we stayed on 15th floor. Otherwise, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room was also spacious with big windows.
We had a little problem in the morning with wake up service, although we didn’t request anything at 9 am the phone was ringing super loud. First day we thought it was a mistake but same happened in the following days.
Breakfast was good, but I cant say the same for coffee.
Umbrella for rainy days was available upon request.
