Terrible property. Location was the only positive. I could write an essay about the property degeneracy. 6 elevators, only 2 worked. And they didn’t work for the same area of the hotel. Dirty rooms, dirty bathrooms, poor hotel room doors, ghetto paintings. Need I say more?

Convenient to public transportation and variety of eating establishments for all budgets.

Good location. Bed was comfortable.

They had 3 elevators only 1 worked and me and about 10 other people was stuck on the elevator for approximately 10-15 minutes!! And was told it was nothing they can do about . I was notified to leave a review smh . I can say arriving staff was wonderful very welcoming , however I was told that early check in was available but unfortunately the room was not ready so I did have to wait until the regular time . Then when arriving to the room there wasn't any towel available. ( we went to the store and bought towels) They brung us towel at midnight Other then that New York made up for the inconvenience This hotel is very close to a lot of tourists places I would give it a 3/5

The Hotel was seemed rundown and in need of an overhaul.

Woman at desk was great - she was the only good thing about our stay; two different men were not, and front desk answering was hit-or-miss; biggest complaints were elevator was down three separate times during our brief stay; room had a few issues that were pointed out so we didn’t get charged deposit; had to call a few times to have them get the tv to work which they acted like was a big inconvenience; no washcloths; charged me on departure when I had already paid (more!) on hotel; took a few business days to finally get money back despite letting them know within an hour of the charges; will not stay here again

Overall it was okay

Room was decent but no face cloths and no shower mat after day 1 and no coffee maker or kettles available. Rooms were quite clean and quiet. Bed was very comfortable .Staff was very nice and helpful at front desk and cleaning staff. Entry and public areas a little run down. Balcony on 5th floor/check-in has an excellent view. Only 1 working elevator was a bit of a nuisance and slowed us down on days we wanted to rush. Would have loved the bar to be open on 5th floor. Easy access to subways to go uptown, Brooklyn etc. Overall we are happy with our stay

The checkin process was quick but not hospitable. The attendant was pushy and did not have a warm personality. The facilities were nice but not well maintained. My door got stuck allot, the gym did not have water or wipes, the elevator was broken. The room was ok but very bare bone, there was no water, the carpet could have used a vacuum. The view was great and the bed was very comfortable.

**Avoid This Hotel – Terrible Experience!** I had the misfortune of staying at this hotel, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I knew something wasn’t right. The atmosphere was off—almost eerie—and nothing looked like the photos or descriptions online. It felt like someone had just taken over an abandoned building and started running it without any regard for upkeep or maintenance. First off, the elevator broke down during my stay, which forced all guests to use the service elevator. Not only is this incredibly inconvenient, but it also added to the feeling that the place is falling apart. The staff was incredibly unprofessional and seemed either uninterested or completely unqualified to handle the situation. As for the amenities, they advertised a bar, restaurant, and gym—but none of these were what they promised. The bar was completely shut down, and I didn’t even bother with the gym since getting anywhere with the elevators down was a hassle. The rooms were also subpar—dirty walls, outdated furniture, and an overall neglected feel. It felt unsafe, like I was staying in a place that had been forgotten by whoever was supposed to be managing it. The whole experience left me feeling uncomfortable and wary about my belongings. To sum it up: this hotel is a complete scam. If you're looking for a place to stay, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Excellent location. Clean and quiet. There was only one operable elevator during my stay, which is hopefully a temporary situation.
