The cleaness

The hotel is a beautiful space, although a little tired, for those who are disabled there is a mini lift to the hotel, so you don’t need to to do the steps. The room I had was spacious and very important an excellent mattress and pillows. Not far from city centre, easy walk, also great bars and pubs. Staff are fabulous. I will definitely stay again, preferred to premier inn.

Clean and tidy room in a good location but very tired and dated needs upgrading

Staff were welcoming and polite. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s just a very tired hotel needing a renovation with some modernisation to keep up with the you know what your getting with premier in etc.

Clean room friendly staff, room was a fair size for the suite but this particular room I don’t think it was worth the money I paid for. The bed was absolutely awful not comfortable.

Good value for money but really dated and pld fashioned. Breakfast very poor with limited options and only fruit was apples , so we went out for brekkie.

Hotel a bit warn but the staff make up for it. They were so accommodating and friendly. Couldn’t help enough. I have been to some of the best hotels in the world and would definitely come back to this one.

Room was to hot

The breakfast was okay. The room you could tell was out of date and as such was not great for getting the best night sleep. The curtain in our room wouldn’t shut properly so light was coming in very early in the morning. There was a large crack under our door also letting light in.

Wonderful stay in upgraded room. Our suite was clean, spacious and excellent value. Location very central to all amenities. Staff always pleasant and helpful. Building a little dated in parts but that did not detract from a wonderful stay. Would stay again.

Great location and helpful staff. Room had obvious signs of water damage but smelled clean and well aired. Shower was slow to drain causing standing water while showering. Staff were friendly and helpful with directions or recommendations.

The room was lovely staff very friendly and helpful entrance hall was stunning. Lifts were old and poorly maintained. The breakfast was terrible. I would return but I’d definitely skip the breakfast

The staff as usual were first class..no complaints,except observations as follows. 1.room 333 the carpert is in a very bad state,with oil like marks 2.the wash hand basin was cracked 3.the roll up blind in the bathroom was inoperable due to a broken cord 4.the wardrobe's door drags on the carpet. 5.the toilet does not flush completely (on the first flush)

It's a nice hotel, lovely staff, but the rooms are a bit dated and the carpet was stained in multiple areas, and there was coffee stains up the wall and the skirting was dusty as well as window cills, the bed was really comfy I slept really well, also the breakfast is so nice and the staff doing breakfast, as well as bar staff all in all it's a love hotel in a great location , just need a little revamp in rooms..

Clean hotel, very old so walls and floors are wonky and hard to open the windows but to be expected in such an old building. Bed and bathroom were spotless and the location was ideal, walking distance to all restaurants/ castle / arena so overall great value for money

Just very dated. convenient location but noisy at night due to being in centre!

staff was very helpful the room was very nice and clean the only issue we had was the walls was very thin and personal next door knocked wall even though we was talking quiet but apart from that it was a nice hotel
