Arrived around 9pm on a Sunday to no parking in the hotel car park or overflow so back round the roundabout to the main car park, no biggy but no signs up either to say where else to park. On check in had to pay £5 for parking which had not been mentioned at booking, bit cheeky given other guests do not have to pay. Food & bar area perfectly adequate. Room spacious & comfortable. Its handy for the M5, has parking for vans & trailers and affordable too so perfectly pleasant stay.

We had a lovely comfortable stay at the Ramada, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the only criticism I had was the hard pillow, but that is just my preference and opinion, it wouldn't put me off staying here in future.

Very good quality for an affordable stay. I paid £70 for a room for two, and it was well worth it. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was pleasant. It was a bit of a walk to get to the room and there was no lift, but nothing too bad. The only downside was the reception. I wanted a late check-out and tried calling eight times, but no one ever answered. The front desk seemed mostly unattended, which was frustrating. Overall, a comfortable and good value stay.

I checked in online and provided my car registration details. I am now being pursued by a parking company because nobody told me to register separately on a terminal. The hotel clearly did not pass on my registration details. What is the point of providing this at the online check-in?

I was on a 5 day training nearby and stayed here. I left out the 'make up my room' banner on my bedroom 2 mornings and nobody came to make up my room. I raised it with the receptionist who said they tell the cleaners the night before what rooms to clean??? So i had a messy room all week with dirty cups and no tea top ups. This does not seem like an effective system. Why don't the cleaners walk around to check the signage on rooms? I may be back next year and would appreciate a better service next time.

We arrived not able to park so had to go into the overflow car truck park. We went Into reception and was told to pay an extra £5 on top for parking our car. We then had to add our registration into an iPad. We were given our keys to the first floor. There were no lifts and had to walk up the stairs. Whilst walking there through the corridor we saw rubbish all over the floors. This was a little alarming. The bedrooms were average. The bed was made and we had a shower and toilet. As we had travelled from work and arrived there at 8pm we were tired. So we just showered and went to bed. At this point we felt the uncomfortable pillows but had no choice but to try and sleep on them. Sadly the rooms have no air con and the small plug in fan did not do anything to help. Just made a noise all night. The next day we woke around 6.30 to the sound of cars on the motorway as it's very near but the nights sleep was good. However we were more awake and realised that the pillows were not very desirable in the least. The colour and the lumps in them looked very misshapen. Look I am not knocking this convenient place to stop and sleep but just be aware, it's more of a motel than a hotel.

Check-in was slow, as they had to check our room was ready. Even then, it wasn't made up properly, as it only had towels etc. for three, not four. The room however was perfectly pleasant, and the beds were comfortable.

Stopped at the hotel half way to the destination. If you book direct with the hotel, no parking fee, if you book with a 3rd party there is a £5 a night fee (which is reasonable and fully stated in the information on the Hotels.com site for the hotel) Arrived and managed to find a parking space in the hotel area (very tight spaces due to others not parking well). Checkin was ok, the gentleman who checked me in was polite. Room was on the 1st floor (no lift but didn’t have heavy luggage so was ok), room 108. Room was pleasant enough - few stains but you come to expect those kind of things in older hotels. Only stayed overnight and didn’t have food so can’t comment on the breakfast or evening meal other than I heard last food orders was around 2115hrs

Two night stay with a friend, had booked one night before returning to Ireland but decided to spend a second day in the area. Receptionist quicky merged the two bookings into one and gave us rooms side by side. Happy with the room, food average, overall happy enough

Well first of all let's get this straight it's a hotel at a truck stop which we were not aware of. When I viewed the hotel online it said there was free self parking when I got there the rude and condescending man who checked us in made me pay 5 pounds for parking. When we got to the room the room smelled funny there were no toiletries. We had dinner there if that's what you can call it it was barely edible I would never recommend this property to anyone.
