Bed frame was very squeaky when sit on it. Front desk told me that its the same in the other remaining room which was true to my surprise. Room was muggy warm, needed to use a fan to cool down; window locked closed. Bathroom was missing a set of towels for 2nd person. Front desk was friendly trying to help. Buffet Breakfast was good though.

Spacious room with comfortable bed and sofa bed, lovely to have a bath tub with fast running hot water and the warm cookies on arrival was a great touch, would stay again.

They really need to change the beds and improve the food in the kitchen. Breakfast was better than the evening meal. Not being able to sleep well due to a shockingly poor bed is unacceptable.

The hotel staff were lovely but the room smelt really over sprayed and set off my allergies terribly. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable but the bed was lovely .

We came all the way from San Diego and Steph that worked at the front desk made our experience at this hotel absolutely wonderful. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you.

Very comfortable bed and room. Friendly and welcoming staff at reception, and they gave us a lovely warm cookie on check-in. The only downside, was the sign in sheet was printed in incredibly small font, and the printer clearly needed a service and some ink.

Nice hotel, good amenities nearby, was good for my requirements

Centralised temperature control was broken and staff failed to address the issue in 2 consecutive nights. Rooms were heated through centralised system and there was no maintenance staff to fix it and thermostats in the rooms were disabled, it wasn’t possible to control room temperature and opening windows led to major motorway (M4) noise in the room. This led to very uncomfortable and sleepless nights for entire family!!!

Clean room Lovely breakfast

The rooms were nice and clean, hotel staff were polite and helpful. They have a new booking system which caused a minor delay but was only an extra couple of minutes. Noise wasn't an issue, neither was parking. The only down side was only 1 lift was working, which was an issue on Sunday morning. Would happily stay again.

Nice hotel.A little dated.

This is the worst Doubletree I have stayed in. The Aircon is not aircon and rooms were boiling in the middle of March. The rooms are tired and dated too. It's a shame but I will seek another hotel in the area in the future.

helpful staff as always. the hotel had a lovely open feeling to it.

Stayed here before a long time ago, some of the furniture has been updated. quite clean and tidy. Room could have done with some more lighting. Quite dark even during day with curtains open.

Didn't find the receptionist over friendly, we arrived 45 minutes before check in time and were told our room is ready however we would need to pay £10 to check in slightly early, which does not seem very customer friendly. Knowing it was valentines night we booked a table in the restaurant 3 weeks prior our stay, however we were given a table in the bar area under a TV screen showing football, I felt very uncomfortable at this table. Overall not the best stay.
