Lovely big hotel, good sized room, sainsburys next door. Not far from Canterbury or whitsable, lovely drive

Menu is okay but the service and wait times in the restaurant are absurd unfortunately. Rest of facilities fine. Rooms 3/5 all round

The public areas such as the lobby was very clean, modern and welcoming. Gym was great for a hotel gym I was very impressed. Spa facilities were okay just abit cramped. Everywhere in the hotel was new apart from the rooms and corridors which were abit dated and felt abit old & dusty. However bed was very comfy.

Lovely stay in the heart of Kent. The pool, steam room and sauna added that little bit of extra luxury. The hotel room was very comfortable and clean. We are in the Horizons restaurant and the waitress was very attentive. The food was amazing and service was quick. Cooked breakfast was a bit dry. I would say get up as soon as breakfast starts for a fresh one.

This is a great hotel in an ideal location for onward travel to France via Eurostar or Le Shuttle. The check-in was fast, friendly and efficient. The staff were all very helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking too.

Dog friendly good parking ideal for le shuttle Understaffed with mainly youngsters. Clearing tables was either not a priority or staff too busy. Tables dirty and food on the floor in the bar area.

Stopped on a Thursday night en route to the channel tunnel to avoid a mad rush before our crossing on the Friday morning. We have stayed preciously but not for about 10-12 years. Hotel was nice, clean and said everything as listed - dinner in the restaurant was a bit so so, but overall not bad for the price we paid. Would stay here again.

Good location, friendly staff

Excellent stay abd staff were friendly and helpful. Nice room, good location . Restaurant and food was very good. Enjoyed my stay. I did book an extra night.

All staff worked hard but they were stretched in some areas

It’s ok but the rooms are very dated for the price. Could do with an update. Main areas like lounge and lobby are lovely and modern but it doesn’t run throughout the hotel.

Nice place

Bit of miscommunication between reception desk and restaurant. We asked at reception what time Breakfast was open the following morning for the August Bank Holiday Monday as we needs to set off early. We were told 6.30am so planned around that only to be told next morning at the restaurant it was 7.30am which messed up our travel plans.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Room and hotel were very clean and comfortable. We got there late at night and had to leave early in the morning, so didn't get to use any of their amenities, but breakfast was good (with good options) and room fridge was stocked with beer! Check in and check out were very smooth and quick. A bit on the expensive side. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again (at a lower rate though!)

Very friendly reception staff. Extremely comfortable bed. Walls are a little thin, especially when there are little kids running around above, but that's hotels in general for you, earplugs are always on hand. Food was lovely, and plenty of gluten free options, even pie which is a very rare find. Not had time to try the spa. I'd stay again if I was in the area.

I’ve got to say the service was 10/10 and I think it was the assistant manager who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and got everything they needed, will definitely be going back

Good and bad experience. The good, the restaurant food and staff were fantastic, shout out to them for a great all round great job. The bad, the room. Poor soundproofing (could hear my neighbours), broke tiles in the bathroom, unclean toilet, unclean bath, chemical/musty smell in the room. Won’t stay again.
