Looks every thing is great and service was awesome just wondering how they managed the property.

We just got back from a 4-night stay (July 6–10) at Moon Palace Sunrise. We traveled as a family of 5 with boys ages 9, 11 & 12. Overall, we had a great trip and would absolutely return! The biggest surprise was how much there was for older kids to do. The arcade, coffee shop, daily activities, and nightly shows kept them entertained the entire trip. The Sunrise pool is HUGE and never felt crowded despite being busy. The atmosphere was fun and energetic. The food was good—our favorite was the steakhouse. We did the presentation for the Grand water park pass. The water park was fun, and the food at The Grand was noticeably better. However, I wouldn’t spend vacation time on the presentation again. The resort credits were disappointing—we had over $1,250 and couldn’t find much to use them on. Even after saying no, we were repeatedly pressured to buy, including at checkout. Our biggest negative was the staff. Everyone was polite, but not nearly as warm or welcoming as we’ve experienced at other Caribbean resorts. We also noticed missing pool tiles and the pool was dirty to the point when you got out you needed to shower immediately. While there were workers constantly scrubbing it did not remove the problem. Overall, we made great family memories. I’d definitely return, but I’d love to see less sales pressure and friendlier service.

Stayed at Moon Palace Sunrise - make sure you confirm which hotel (group of 3) you want before booking. I didn’t realize it was three different hotels but was happy that we ended up at Sunrise. Amenities were very worth the money. Travelled with my young adult children (18 and 19) and we loved all the food, drinks, and activities. Would recommend this hotel to others and would also consider returning in the future. Only downside is the sales pitches that come with check in and check out. Be ready to say no if you’re not into upselling

The hotel itself is not too bad, but our room was a horrible experience. We had rats in our AC vents on the third night and realized that there was mold on top of the shower head the last night as well as the entire property smells like sewage and it is definitely not just because of the seaweed or sagassum. It’s a horrible awful smell. Would never recommend moon palace sunrise to anyone

The Spa is super

The property was nice and the staff were fantastic. The only issue was the strong sewage smell at the sunrise property. Also I didn't get what I was promised in the timeshare/ membership presentation. I would definitely avoid the presentation wasted precious hours that I can't get back.

Got to the hotel and were advised that we had to pay $100US per day for the kids to use the waterpark (huge disappointment) pool was really dirty and not cleaned often enough. Garbage was still around the pool the next morning from the day before. My husband has a disability and the carts were very hard to find and people would run to them and fill them up so we were often left behind because he can't run. Restaurants were good. Enjoyed the drinks. Staff was friendly. Resort credits are useless!!

Amazing resort from top to bottom. Staff was extremely friendly, good amount of amenities and activities throughout the facility, the pools and bars were great, the beach was nice (but full of sargassum). The food was 7/10. My ONLY complaint is that they don’t have elevators for the rooms. The lobby is on the second floor, and the pool is on the first floor. So no matter what you do, there isn’t a floor that doesn’t require you to go up or down stairs to get to where you are going. They put us on the third floor. We have kids, so this was very tedious with a stroller. All in all, I’d still give this resort a 10/10 because the entire experience was amazing. A lot of people wouldn’t recommend it, but take the 90 Minute ‘Timeshare’ presentation so that you can get 2 days of day passes for The Grand. It’s worth it to spend two days over there and eat at the restaurants and go to the waterpark.

We enjoyed this place. Felt like living in dream. Very good staff and animities.

We loved our experience at the Moon Palace. It’s a wonderful place, especially if you’re traveling with young ones. The kids absolutely loved the playroom and arcade lounge. The staff there are so friendly. People are always willing to help (even if you don’t ask). The pools were wonderful and clear. The only downside was we couldn’t swim at the ocean, but that was out of their control. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.

Nice place

We were excited about staying but we had an unfortunate event my wife slipped and fell on 1 of the stairs by the pool they sign that its slippery was very small and she was very careful and still slipped and fall on her back. The staff tried helping but not with urgency they did advise is to go to the hospital but the Mexican hospital is not like USA they wnt do anything unless we paid up front same for the ambulance too. The onsight Dr gave her a shot twice during the stay and charged 150 and 100 for consultation the hotel took care of the 100 but shouldn't have charged for the shots because it was on their property. Advice to hotel yall need railings and more grips on the floor. As the staff was helping us someone else slipped and fell on her knees. Staff should be out there constantly mopping the stairs and they also have way to much stairs by the pool area. Whole weekend was ruined she had to stay in bed and couldn't enjoy anything. Would have been nice if they wld have compensated some of our money. Also I signed up to do a tour of the grand before this happened and went without my wife the next day. The sales people were worst than car salesman took almost 3 hours wasted my time. I gave them my thoughts on the situation with my wife and told them I wld not be interested because of what we were going through with financial burdens when we get home,medical expenses etc. They were like im sorry but still continues selling. Im very disappointed. Only thing good was pizza
