I have stayed here 4 or 5 times in the past, probably about 14 weeks in total. Rooms are a nice size and staff are friendly. Definitely not a 5 star hotel but comfortable and clean and in a good location.

Nice area around the hotel. Only didn’t liked that I reserved for three people, the third person arrived the first night but left because personal reasons another friend arrived we told him that since we rented for three could stay but the hotel told us that couldn’t because already we were three, we explained that the other person left and will not comeback, despite that, they told me that I would have to rent another room for my other friend. At the end we would be three only like planned. Other than that everything fine, staff great.

Was well worth the money got the executive sweet with balcony on 18th had a great view and so close to the pool! The staff was super friendly and helpful knowing it was my first time in Brazil! Definitely would stay here again!

My phone and primary credit cards were stolen in the crowds during the Lady Gaga concert. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. Throughout the hotel all staff members (exception of housekeepers) spoke excellent English. We also found the location to be better than expected for all of our needs; convenience stores, money changer, pharmacies, restaurants and sidewalk cafes, and more.

Internet problems, elevator down, leaving only one.

Internet went off more times than I can remember. One if two elevators was out 2 days and remaining one was slow. Staff was very good. Could hear neighbors thru the wall. Typical noisy trash collection but that's anywhere in Copacabana. Oddly they made me pay for 2 beers from mini frig when I replaced them with same brand only bigger cans apparently so they called me out and I had to pay. I understand a policy, but sometimes you need to think about is it worth it.

very ideal location, close to the beaches, shops and restaurants… the best part is starting your day with an excellent breakfast! Also staff are very friendly and helpful…. 5 stars all throughout

I’ll start by saying the service was excellent from the front desk to the bellhop! Room was extremely clean. The hotel is older so had a little wear but not too big of a concern.

Great location in Copacabana one block from the beach. The staff were super helpful and the free breakfast was outstanding!

It is stepping back about 40 years. The size of the room is about a balcony stateroom on a ship (we just came from a cruise and our stateroom was larger). It was OK because of good personnel, breakfast, and cleanliness. No complaints in these areas. The major negatives are condition of the furniture and utilities ( low toilet, old shower head), and bad TV quality - one channel in English, which quit working. The rooftop pool was small, but looked clean. The view was good, but to get there you need to take about 16 steps after elevator.

We left our luggage and flew to Iguazu Falls. Everyone was very accommodating. We had a very early flight and were offered a box breakfast. We really enjoyed staying here twice.

Great location and very friendly staff. The hotel is a bit dated and could use a renovation but the rooms r big, very comfortable and super clean which is what is most important.

Porters met us at the car and handled our luggage. Check in was quick and easy. The desk clerks were very helpful with directions and suggestions. The room was clean and well equipped with all we needed. The breakfast buffet is well stocked with a large variety of fruit and cold and hot choices. The hotel is only one block from the beach and a number of restaurants.

Great location. It felt secure, safe. If you are looking for a place to sleep with peace and quiet, forget it. It is super noisy. Very otdated old building. Small rooms, small hallways, you hear everything from every angle. The elevator ringing, banging everywhere, tourist luggage sounds at any hour. On the bright side everyone was very helpful in everyway. If you are going to carnival DON'T GET BOOKERS TRANSPORTATION they are a mess!!!!. The front desk offered a better option. Cheaper, super organized and reliable. Although it was noisy as hell and the cleaning wasn't that impressive, it was worth it for the price, the awesome service and the location made it worthwhile. I would return if I ever comeback to Rio.
