Excellent hotel ! Rooms were great! Free bus tickets were included! Pool in hotel is also great

Property was accommodating for pets. Room was clean . Rooms could use a refresh and better lighting. Hot tub in cave atmosphere was a highlight , would have been better if the jets were working and towels were available at the hot tub.

called in because of the weather and road condition, but staffs refuse to adjust our stay date or atleast to partially refund us.

There was a plumbing issue even though someone came and tried to fix it. They said it’s fixed and while we’re sleeping, there was water leaking under the toilet everywhere in the room. When I called the front desk, they said they don’t have anyone available to come and fix it right now.

On the surface, this hotel offers the appearance of a higher profile stay, but as you settle in, the deficiencies start to emerge and its far from great. To begin with, the Expedia rate I had secured, differed from the rate we ended up being charged (not a great start), and the front desk attendant was pretty condescending, but we didn't let that bother us too much. Remaining optimistic, we headed to our room. The first thing that stood out was how surprisingly dirty the floors were. They definitely had not been touched since the previous occupants. Dirt/dust and footprints on the tiled sections, and the rugs had not been vacuumed. On further inspection, the couple of large towels that were in the bathroom were folded, but when we asked for 2 more, they told us that the hotel did not have any at the moment. First time we've ever received that kind of response from a hotel(??) No further effort was made by them to fulfill this request for us over the 4 days we were there. We had to take a couple of towels from the hot tub change room. And speaking of the hot tub, it was a nice touch with its rustic, rocky finishes and colorful lighting, but the jets were only working the first day we were there. The button just stopped working out of the blue... We never did recieve an explanation when we asked what the problem was. Apart from all that, if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs (the room heaters are very loud). Overall, not a great value for the money. Much better options.

Front staff were great, hot tub was super cool and on-site restaurant was good as well. Rooms are small and very dated though with some definite maintenance required.

Room is small, no refrigerator or microwave, also gym is small and only has hot tub. No option for other sweeteners for copy just plain sugar. Only has 1 garbage can and it’s inside the washroom. Parking spot small, hard to park if you’re vehicle is bigger.

Hotel Needs A Deep Cleaning, Lots Of Dust, Dirty Carpets, Broken Bathtub Faucets. Hotel Could Use Some Upgrades In The Room For The Price Being Charged. Elevator Needs An Upgrade.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Pool it’s quite different and relaxing . Rooms are a little small.

My family had a nice stay here, the hot tub area was the highlight. The rooms are small and I wish they had microwaves or a mini fridge, but the beds were comfy! The staff in both hotel and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Courteous staff that work efficiently at check in and check out. Very enchanting hot tub with a cave and basin feel. Rooms are extremely small with two double beds that barely fit in the room. Inconvenient not to have a mini fridge in the room. It was nice to have a small fitness rook but the floors look rather dirty. We would stay again but only for a good price.

Friendly staff, and it was a nice surprise to be upgraded to a suite. The hotel is very convenient for the ski bus, and the grotto hot tub was the highlight after a day on the slopes. It’s about a 10-minute walk to downtown Banff, and there’s also a bus stop right outside the hotel if you’d rather not walk.

Booked 4 nights at this hotel for a family vacation. Because we booked on Expedia I’m sure we were given the oldest and least accessible room. We had to haul our luggage up and down stairs as there was no other way of getting to our room. Then our room was on the side of the hotel and had a living area upstairs and the bedroom downstairs. More hauling luggage up and down stairs. Room was old and needed to be updated. Bed was lumpy. When asked about changing rooms front desk told us that was all they had and didn’t try very hard to help us. We will not stay here again.

Rooms aren't soundproof - I could hear people not in my room peeing in the toilet - It is clearly a.party place - so if you are looking for quiet - skip this place

Pool was great. Room was clean but tight space. It was noisy over the weekend. Loud crowds at night and skiers in the morning. All rooms face outdoor courtyards so noise was going to happen. It was very warm in the room.
