I booked this hotel based on ratings, and I’m so glad I did! The staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast is delicious, and includes made-to-order eggs, omelettes, or an assortment of meats, fruits, etc. The breakfast staff are top-notch. A huge highlight of the hotel is their rescue alpaca, Kiki. She is adorable and her personality shows through. There is always filtered water and teas available. I highly recommend this hotel and only wish we had more time to hang out and enjoy all of the amenities they offer - we were just too busy!

Excellent hotel very close to everything within walking distance. Rooms were nice, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Really enjoyed the central lounge, sitting and having tea with Kiki the Alpaca. Highly recommend Union Hotel.

Great place. Highlights were the breakfast, service, and comfort of the beds. Its a bit noisy when people are in the plaza but we never really had a major problem with it. Enjoy the breakfast selection. Staff was amazing.

Nice, clean rooms and great breakfast options. We had a little trouble getting hot water, but the front desk was able to resolve the issue after resetting the system. Overall a great experience!

Location fantastic. Breakfast and breakfast staff amazing. Front desk staff mediocre with poor hospitality skills. Constant dripping shower with poor pressure. Rooms small. Hotel is adequate but disappointing. There are better choices in the location. Our most disappointing hotel on a month long Latin America trip.

The hotel was great. Clean, comfortable with excellent staff. Breakfast was fantastic exceeding expectations. The location was perfect for getting out for the day and close walking distance to the center of the old town. Would absolutely stay there again.

The hotel location was excellent, less than five minutes from the main square and just one block from San Pedro Market. We stayed for one week, and everything was great. The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly and polite. Kiki was a lovely bonus (the hotel’s pet llama!). They offer laundry service; however, there are several options across the street for about half the price, and they deliver to the reception. We would definitely choose this hotel again.

I would love to rate this hotel higher but save your money if you want to get any rest. I confirmed a King size bed and received two different twins pushed together that didn’t match up correctly and TRULY felt like box springs. I don’t think there was a centimetre of cushion. We got zero sleep because they were that hard. Otherwise the staff are super sweet, rooms are very clean, property is impeccably maintained. But also for a 1pm check in, we didn’t get our room until well after 2pm and had just travelled from Machu Picchu. If you want comfort, I’d unfortunately pass this conveniently located hotel.

The hotel was perfectly located in the heart of the historic center, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the staff was consistently attentive and helpful throughout the stay. The complimentary airport pickup was a convenient touch, and the breakfast provided each morning was enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable and well-run place to stay.

Beautiful setting. Perfect as you acclimate to the altitude of Cusco. Quiet. Kiki is a lovely hotel ambassador.

no bell boy had to carry our own luggage to 3 rd floor, no hot water, no fresh towels.

This stay was far beyond what we expected. The room was super clean and comfortable and the staff was above and beyond helpful. They had recommendations and advice for every situation which helped us have a great time in the city. The bar and wait staff were also exceptional. There is even an actual alpaca in the courtyard (her name is Kiki) and it is so much fun to watch her antics. I would highly recommend this property. This experience was worth every penny!
