The property is centrally located and in walking distance to everything (public transport, taxi stands, various shopping centres, restaurants, caffes, fish market, etc). That was the big plus. The points for improvement are: 1- the checking process is terrible. The codes I got to checkin were for a device that was out of order. Lucky for us we areived during the day. So, I called the sister hotel and they gave me the codes to get the room keys. However, a friend of mine who arrived after 2 am could not get in as noone picked up the phone and had to book to another hotel. 2- the other point of improvement is the bathroom- it is tiny and it gets very wet after taking a shower. 3- the carpet in the room looks like its best days are over. It is an ok hotel for 1 night stay. More than that perhaps consider staying at the sister hotel.

Despite having a key code could not get key. No reception had to find another hotel who could check you in, insane system. This was at 1600. In the room large hole stuffed with cardboard where I guess a fan should be. Shower head could not stay up, fell off bruising my foot. Hotel clearly has no staff or maintenance. Exceptionally poor.

The hotel staff were amazing! There was a min up with my reservation but they accommodated me. Their warmth, help and kindness added so much to my stay in Bergen. They provided lots of advice. Only this is, shampoo and conditioner weren’t provided but I had my own.

Clean comfortable room, very convenient for local transport, reasonable price value given the destination. Flaws in self check in concept resulting in me not receiving key safe codes by email, requiring telephone calls to help desk, who were quite helpful, also none operation of some room lights and sockets only remedied by housekeeping staff on second day

This accom is not staffed to check in (contrary to advertising) so when there are issues needing fixing after hours, there isn’t anyone to assist. Power tripped in our room several times using coffee machine and heater and was off all night. Great location, loved the heated floor.

Vi hadde store problemer med å få sjekket inn. Hotellet skal være selvbetjent. Det var det ikke før oss. Vi måtte løpe til et annet hotell i pøsregn for å få hjelp. Bestillingen min ble flyttet over til en annen persons booking slik at oppholdet mitt blei i noen andre sitt navn. Det førte til at jeg ikke fikk hotels.com rewards på oppholdet. Jeg spurte om det var greit å ha nøkkelkortet i mobil-dekselet, det sa resepsjonisten at gikk fint. Det viste seg å være løgn. Det var bedbugs. Manglet balsam og bodylotion på badet. Manglet 'ikke forstyrr' skiltet, på grunn av det ble jeg vekket av housekeeping som insisterte på at jeg trengte håndklær tilsvarende 5 kvadrat meter or to netter. Det var mye bråk og dårlig isolasjon. Rommet var kaldt. Det hjalp ikke å skru opp varmen. Når vi skulle hente bag og sjekke ut kom jeg ikkje inn i rommet og måtte løpe tilbake til det andre hotellet for å få nøkkelkort som virket.

Convenient hotel to stay in. It is self check in. But all instructions are sent to you and are easy to follow. The lift was broken when we arrived but there was an employee stationed somewhere nearby to help with bags. Clean and quiet room.

Everything is perfect. Central location. Everything a tourist might need in few minutes reach. I think the checking process could be a little easier rather than back and forth phone call. It doesn't bother much but there is a noise inside the room time to time. Something contracts and expands. I couldn't figure out why.

Lift broke when we checked out and it was such an inconvience lifting and carrying luggages from level 6 all the way down to the ground floor. Otherwise the room and amenities are decent for its price.

I did not realize there was no staff on the premises. I had to go to a nearby sister hotel to get my room key and except for a few questions I had about getting around on transit that I couldn’t ask because of no staff, it was a good stay. Room was nice, clean, and location was great.

Great location, no issues

This hotel is great location however my experience with the room this time was bad. It was weird showing and then having to use all the towels to dry the floor so I didn’t slip. Lot more noise during this stay. Maybe that’s because I stayed for 3 nights and on the 5th floor opposed to 6th floor last time.

This was a perfect stay in Bergen. I actually rebooked this hotel for another stay after returning to Bergen. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Overall, a great stay! Self-check-in was easy once I got the code, and the staff at the sister hotel were super helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only minor thing is no on-site staff, but otherwise really good experience!
