The staff at Excelton were incredibly friendly and helpful. This hotel was my family and I's choice when visiting Palembang. The breakfast was excellent, and we were very satisfied. Dine-in service was also excellent.

I used to stay here often. But now it's improved a lot. From the rooms to the food, it's great.

The reception staff were a bit lacking in friendliness. Upon getting out of the car, there was no concierge to greet us. Upon arrival at the reception, the service was mediocre, lacking warmth. Hotel hospitality should be perfect, after all, it's a hotel. At check-in, the concierge didn't offer to deliver luggage to the room. Fortunately, the staff who helped us at breakfast were very friendly, which somewhat offset the disappointment with the check-in service. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was top-notch. The room also provided a hairdryer, iron, ironing board, safe, refrigerator, and electric kettle. Overall, the room facilities were very good.

When you want to swim but don't have a swimsuit, the staff offers to rent swimsuits and can deduct the deposit. This is the first time I've found a hotel that provides swimsuits, which is really cool and out of the box.

The notes made were not well considered, the room was not ready when we wanted to check in (it was already close to 3 p.m.), the swimming pool cannot be used by children (unless they can swim) because the depth of the pool is not adjusted for children. We booked a club type, facing the street (view of Siti Khadijah Hospital), the sound of motor vehicles entering the room, especially late at night until before dawn there was a lot of illegal racing, adding to the noise in the room, and also the sound from the next room was still faintly audible. It is necessary to pay more attention to attractive facilities, especially for families who are staying during peak season.

The hotel staff, Ms. Happy, was quite friendly, and the welcome snack was delicious. The hotel smelled good and was clean. The room was spacious, but some of the cups were dirty. Breakfast was okay, and the fruit was delicious. Overall, it was a nice hotel.
