During our stay at Royal Tulip Jimbaran, the best experience for our family was breakfast. My stay at this hotel raised serious concerns about privacy and security. In Room 611, at around 05:20 AM, I clearly heard footsteps above the ceiling, even though this room is on the top floor. This was extremely alarming. What concerned me the most was discovering that the combination lock on my luggage had changed, strongly suggesting that someone attempted to access it while I was out. Nothing was taken, but this should never happen in a hotel of this level. After being moved to Room 311, I found another visibility gap—this time on the side of the entrance door, allowing the inside of the room to be partially seen from outside. These issues indicate serious lapses in room privacy and guest safety. I strongly urge management to address the structural gaps, review security protocols, and ensure that such incidents never occur again.

The staff were friendly and the location was perfect for me. The mattress was very uncomfortable (I think it is old and needs to be replaced) and the hot water kept running out so I couldn’t take a bath and there was barely enough for me to have a hot shower. Other than that it was good.
