My stay at the Mercure was very pleasant, with plenty of photo spots and fast and friendly service. The food was delicious. You can buy gelato. It's close to Festival Beach. However, the room wasn't soundproof, and the AC was very loud at night. The room was spacious. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Staying during the holiday season was a completely different experience than usual. Mercure has been my office's go-to hotel for various national-scale events with domestic and international guests for several years now. But during school holidays... with seemingly over-occupancy... the check-in queue was snaking... maybe it needs to be reconsidered. This is the first time I've had a special request ignored by the app. I asked for a non-smoking room but was given a smoking one (a room outside with an ashtray in front of the door, and the smell of it lingered inside). Imagine the exhaustion of driving... the queue was so long... and when I entered the room, it reeked of cigarettes. Even though we requested that because a family member has asthma and is allergic to cigarette smoke. Luckily, after I went to the reception again, I was able to exchange for a non-smoking room that was completely smoke-free. Other than that, as usual, the Mercure group always maintains quality... nice room. Nice view. Even though the restaurant was full of guests with small children... the food was still delicious. The coffee is highly recommended... there are events for children in the afternoon. It's so much fun... For a holiday in Ancol, this is the choice...

Not as expected for a 4-star hotel, I feel unsatisfactory because the facilities and comfort are not commensurate with the price paid. Because I booked on the weekend, the price for 1 night was 1.6 million (less than 3000), unlike the recommendations where in every VT the price was stated under 700, when the book was directed to the app, the price immediately changed. Breakfast was also like eating at a school cafeteria where the food stalls were pathetic. Oh yes, one more thing, the complimentary in the room itself only got 1 bottle of mineral water in a glass bottle packaged by the hotel itself, I think. The bottle was stained. There were almost 10 sachets of sugar, but there was no coffee, so I was confused about the hotel's concept, meaning guests were told to brew water with granulated sugar perhaps. After finishing walking to the room and taking a shower at night, when I was about to go to bed, I realized the bedsheets had blood stains. Oh my God! A 4-star Accor class hotel with this quality. I wanted to complain and ask for a room change, but because I brought a small child, it was already 10 pm, I was too lazy to prolong the matter, the room service officer changed the bed sheets in the room.

The hotel is very comfortable and family friendly, but unfortunately the room I stayed in always had the sound of people running around.

The hotel staff is friendly. The kids' club is great. The pool has a foam pool at certain times for kids (awesome). It's a short walk to Ancol Beach. The breakfast is varied and delicious. The hotel rooms and toilets are clean. There's free face painting for kids. This hotel is very kid-friendly, recommended for a staycation.

I never expected that a hotel with Mercure’s standards would provide the worst service and facilities I have ever experienced. Mercure is aware that the holiday season should be met with preparation for all possible contingencies; however, I observed that the Mercure team acted casually, treating the situation as business as usual. The breakfast area was overcrowded, and this was not accompanied by prompt and proper food replenishment. The hotel facilities were also unsatisfactory.
