Booked a studio but although it came with a hob and microwave it didn't have any cutlery, pot/pans or even a kettle. To operate the tv you were requested to enter a tv licence number, this was eventually sorted by reception. Fantastic pool but no clothes storing facilities.

On the evening of 3rd May, at approximately 9:20pm, we contacted reception to request additional towels after using the pool facilities. To our surprise, the staff member who answered the phone after attempting to phone through 8 times initially denied our request and only relented after we explained in detail why we needed more towels. This interaction was unnecessarily difficult and made us feel uncomfortable, as basic amenities like fresh towels should be readily available to guests without justification. In addition, we also requested an extra duvet, which was flatly refused by the same staff member. He stated, in a dismissive and rude tone, that Ark is “a co-living space and not a hotel.” Despite the property being advertised as a hotel. Regardless of the model of your accommodation, courtesy and reasonable guest support should be a priority. The manner in which we were spoken to was unacceptable and unprofessional. Prior to calling, we attempted to contact Ark via the advertised messaging system but received no response, leaving us with no option but to call. The lack of timely communication and the unfriendly attitude we encountered significantly impacted our experience. We were placed in a room opposite the lift and could hear it all night. We requested to be moved and this was also denied. The room came with a kitchenette but absolutely no cooking utensils, we had to request them and when they arrived they were dirty. Would not stay again or recommend.

This place was good but the check-in procedure was long, complex, frustrating and slow. I cannot understand why it took so long, but it was probably half an hour that we were standing there while the staff member entered our details on her computer slowly, repeatedly and laboriously. When I asked her about a parking space I had previously requested (3 times, by phone and email) she told me somewhat abruptly that no permits were available. I asked whether she could check, explained that I'd called and emailed requesting a space, she told me dismissively that no further spaces were free. I dug out the email I'd received from them saying that a space was reserved for me, and she then inspected it and went away, coming back with the permit for me, without explanation or apology. The room was small but contained a double bed, a wardrobe, a desk/table, a kettle, a fridge freezer, a kitchen sink, a microwave and a tiny bathroom. I wouldn't recommend the space for a couple, a larger or pregnant person - the shower was too small for me to stretch my elbows out across the diagonal, nevermind my arms! The facilities were good - having a swim in the 20th floor at 9pm was great. The jacuzzi was lovely, though the sauna and steam room were not hot enough for my liking. The lack of AC and the window not staying open was annoying - I had to jam it open with a container from the kitchen which had contained teabags. All in all an interesting stay - we might return given cost was low!

Personally wouldn’t book again. Had to complain several times for just basics. Friendly staff & shower water pressure is its highlights. Can see why they don’t photo the shower rooms.

Great property, with a great pool at the top. Parking is an added plus, as you would expect for the price the rooms are fairly small but I try to stay here every time i am in London

We noticed a big change in cleanliness standards since the change from the collective to the ark. Still a nice place to stay and the pool is fantastic but did not feel quite as luxurious.

We had an excellent stay, Mohammed greeted us so kindly upon our arrival, the property was situated in a perfect location for commuting to the city, but had a suburban feel (great running), and the building itself is so nicely designed. Thanks for a great stay!

Stay overall was a great experience. Just disappointed that we had to wait a long time for our room when we were going to a concert and needed to get ready and go for food before this

The room was good nothing to write home about but personally for us that didn’t matter. As the pool and spa facilities were the best thing about or stay! The bathroom was fairly cramped but not a problem. The guy we had on the evening checking in was quite blunt and rude really.
