A wonderful stay at Java Lotus Hotel! The highlight for us was definitely the food. makanKOE Restaurant serves up an excellent breakfast buffet with a great mix of fresh Indonesian archipelago dishes and Western options. The local Jemberese dishes were a fantastic touch. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was accommodating, and the rooftop pool area is beautiful. Bagus and I would absolutely book here again.

So far so good, except for the Wi-Fi, specifically the TV, which isn't working. They promised to fix it, but I fell asleep and still haven't found a solution until the next morning. Please be considerate.

Really enjoyed staying here, we will stay here again next time. With adequate facilities there is a fitness room and also clean rooms, the vibes are really good, only one of the pillows is flat, but overall I really like it.

The location is on the side of the road. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is decent, with traditional dishes and a variety of pastries.

An old hotel but still worth visiting. I booked a queen-sized room with breakfast. The room was quite spacious with a TV and mirror, two vanity mirrors, and a full-body mirror. There was an electric kettle and glasses, and two mineral water bottles. The bathroom had a shower, soap, and shampoo. However, there was no hair dryer. The towels also needed to be replaced because they were no longer white. The room was cleaned daily, but the toilet was not cleaned. Breakfast was available in both Western and traditional styles. The Western was delicious, while the traditional fried rice and fried noodles were less so. All the pastries were delicious, and the drinks were also complete. The service was good at the front office and security. The location was quite close to public areas. Overall, it was an old hotel that was still worth visiting.

1. Upon entering the room, there was an unpleasant odor, like dampness. 2. The bathroom door didn't close properly. 3. The TV was smart, but the Wi-Fi in the room was very weak. It would have been nice to have an antenna so we could at least get the news. 4. The breakfast options were limited. 5. When something ran out, someone had to inform us to refill it. 6. Chicken porridge was provided, but it was more like mushy rice. It wasn't even fully cooked. 7. The names of the dishes didn't match the food served. 8. The food tasted mediocre. 9. There were no small spoons even though there was tea, coffee, and pudding. Sorry, but I don't think I'd return. Although the location is close to the town square, Jember is a small city, so a little distance doesn't make much of a difference. So, I'd be more satisfied choosing a hotel a little further away.

It's strategically located near the iconic Jember road, the town square, and culinary spots. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We had booked 2 junior suites and 2 deluxe rooms. We needed 1 room (whichever available junior suite/deluxe) for late check-out, at least till 2 PM, as we needed to change after attending a wedding reception and before returning to Surabaya. However, the hotel reception said they were unable to help since the rooms had been fully booked after our check-out. We do understand how hotels operate, but it seems the hotel didn't try to help find a solution at all. I think the hotel could do better. Thanks and regards, Roy

Always stay here when going to Jember and it's a family friendly hotel.

The Wi-Fi did not cover all rooms. When I arrived, I was quite disappointed with the Wi-Fi inside the room. They finally gave me an additional extra router and modem inside the room. They said that some rooms have good connection because they are close to the router, while my room is not.

Overall, my stay was okay. The only thing I didn't get was the Wi-Fi and TV in the room, as they were out of range.

The bed sheets weren't white, so they were still stained… even though I checked in at night, and the towels didn't seem clean either. The TV wouldn't turn on, and I called a technician, but it still wouldn't work… Please clean the room, bed sheets, and towels even more.

The hotel is comfortable, clean, and strategically located. The staff and security are very responsive and helpful. There was a queue at check-in. Perhaps the 2:00 PM check-in time could be changed to something more flexible so that guests don't have to wait in line at 2:00 PM when some rooms aren't ready yet.

I booked two junior suites and was very disappointed. The wardrobe wouldn't open, and the white towels were faded. The TV was very difficult to operate. The lights were better in the deluxe rooms. The room was cleaned on the second day, but no toothbrush was added, even though the old one was thrown away... Disappointed.

The atmosphere and staff are friendly, making for a great experience.
