Although the staff were friendly and courteous the hotel itself is run down. It’s obvious that improvements have been attempted. But in a half hearted attempt. Paintwork peeling off work work, one bedside table renewed but not the other, mouldy silicone in the shower, heating not sufficient even with an extra plug in electric heater.

Excellent all round!hotel needs a makeover really!beautiful old place. And staff at reception and bar etc!fantastic!Frid and friendly!also provided me with a battery operated fire alarm!exserrvvice food also both b.fast and dinner could not fault!Great presentation!

Would be nice to have hot water in room 338 and central heating needs bleeding as top hall was cold, otherwise a good stay

refurbished room ,lovely and warm ,and comforable,check in and staff were so accommodating.Breakfast first class multiple choice cooked to order five stars

Only letdown this visit was the low water pressure on the shower in the room

The hotel put in a room which backed onto the lift shadt so was very noisy all night. We did mention this is the morning and was told we should have said something and they would have moved us, but what the hotel should have done is not put us in the room in the first place if other rooms were available, all hotel staff know the rooms by lifts and stairwells can be noisy. Its about being proactive not reactive isn't it?

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a relaxed feeling. It offers free entertainment. The food is excellent value.

Hotel itself in need of a bit of TLC,good breakfast selection,great location for transport shops bars resturants,1minute from the pier, the staff are great very friend, helpful polite and very sociable,some very good evening entertainment,i would highly recommend,👐

Arrived on a horrid evening, cold blowing a gale, dark & wet evening. Friendly & welcoming reception staff set a positive tone to the stay. Hotel is clearly aged, reception & front of house was well presented. The room whilst reasonably recently decorated was showing wear & tear. Given the price paid it was acceptable & I'd stay again!

Good convenient place to stay. Hotel is very old, windows could do with secondary glazing and repair. Nice downstairs, good breakfast. Dining staff very helpful. Has its own car park.

My Granddaughter and I often stay at the Burlington. The Breakfast is excellent and Liam and his staff always go above and beyond and will always sort any little issues out if they arise .

You get what you pay for really, service was helpful but in the end the facilities are outdated and not well-kept

Large and very clean room. Well heated and good bathroom with bath and shower (good water pressure).
