The location was lovely and the room was nice. I was charged twice for a drink — I paid cash but was then told I had charged it to my room, and given I had a train to catch I didn’t have time to argue — but that was the only real hiccup. Otherwise, I world recommend.

Stunning hotel with incredible food where many famous people have stayed including Winston Churchill and royalty. We visited during a quiet time for them so the bar and restaurant were empty but the aesthetics and location of this charming spot cannot be beat! Be aware that parking is not next to the hotel so only watch out is you need to park a good bit away but it’s €7 a day

Absolutely fantastic hotel right in he heard of old Rothenburg which is the most adorable place ever. I'd stay here again in an instant. HIGHLY recommended.

Beautiful room, centrally located.

Great location in the middle of Rothenberg. Very old building. On-site parking is limited. Bed was low and not very comfortable. Bathtub is very high, might be difficult for those with limited mobility to enter. The bathtub surface is very smooth, and slippery to the point of being hazardous. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Restaurant is excellent, offering a great menu at reasonable prices. Our stay was pleasant, but the next time I visit Rothenberg, I would probably choose another hotel.

Lovely hotel with medieval decor. Person in front was very helpful and friendly. Center of everything. Parking and driving can be tricky, but nothing crazy. Would recommend and def come back. 10/10

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. We liked the hotel being in the centre of town so we could wander around the lanes in the evening. We had a friendly welcome when we arrived and the hotel was warm and cosy, being March it was still cold outside. Our room was spacious with a lovely big bathroom and bath. The hotel has a traditional feel which we liked, with many reception areas. The parking was tricky, and after 30 mins we had to move the car, but there were options. We opted out of breakfast this time as we had an early start.
