Breakfast tasty, location by beach great, front desk very helpful

Friendly, clean, excellent location

First and foremost: James at the front desk was an absolute delight. Super friendly and took extra time to give us some recommendations of what to eat and where to go, beyond the obvious tourist traps. He was always incredibly friendly and smiling. He is exactly how you want a representative to be and is the epitome of customer service. Wonderful location - easy to pivot between Gros and Parte Vieja, couldn't ask for a better spot. The room was generally very nice and comfortable. Two issues we encountered: 1) the AC didn't seem to work consistently, we had a couple of warm evenings in the room. (Too noisy to open the window) 2) the bathroom needed some refurbishing. The sealant around the shower was in really poor, gross looking shape with the some mildew. The bathroom itself had a musty smell as well.

Clean decent sized room, close to old town area of San Sebastián which is great. The breakfast was simple (it’s not a buffet & is done in the next door bar). My only comment would be to have more options on the breakfast menu (everything was bread or croissant with something else). Overall, it was lovely stay and I recommend it

Good location but the hotel is a little tired, and the room smelled strongly of bleach which irritated my eyes and throat. The shower has brown dirt around it and the bathroom was very small. The staff on reception were helpful though and I give it three stars for location. There is nowhere to be dropped off with bags so that is a little inconvenient. It is ok but perhaps was expecting better for the price.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Easily walkable through the Gros neighborhood and over the bridge to Old Town San Sebastian. Rooms are clean and functional. Layout not the best if you are staying for multiple days in terms of clothing storage and want to fully unpack, just an open closet with a few hangers and a book case to stack things on, no iron either if needed. Also, as many reviews mention, there is no safe in the room so if you are having your room serviced you'll likely want to keep your valuables with you. Lastly, we had fantastic service from the concierge, James, but on the days/hours that he wasn't at the desk the rest of the team was lackluster and acted disinterested in greeting or helping guests. A couple small tweaks could take this hotel from good to great!

Enjoyable stay - clean modern hotel with friendly door staff

This place is fine and affordable for the very expensive San Sebastián. Everything is within walking distance. Beds and showers need work. The bed is uncomfortable and the shower leaks everywhere if you use the big showerhead.

It was the perfect hotel. Well located, quiet, and with super helpful and friendly staff. Would definitely go back.

Hotel is situated in a good location Hotel rooms very small with not much space for clothes .Air conditioning very loud during the night ...tv didnt work ...room not exactly clean and when you flushed the toilet the water would splash all over the toilet seat...
