Outstanding service, especially from the front desk and concierge, who are highly responsive and go above and beyond to assist their guests. Be sure to connect with them before your arrival—they proactively reach out to help arrange transportation and offer excellent dining recommendations. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the location is unbeatable, with easy access to restaurants, food trucks, cafes, and shops for snow gear, groceries, and essentials including drug stores—all within walking distance. I’ll definitely be returning! Huge thanks to the Setsu team for an exceptional experience.

Loved everything about the hotel and Niseko ski experience. My only suggestion is to add ski racks/tubes on the outside of the buses to make it much easier to transport back and forth to the ski area. Having your skis stacked on the front seats is inefficient and causes damage to the skis. It would be so much easier if there were racks on the outside of the buses. See Aspen or most US resorts for ideas/pictures

We found out during our check-in that the room given to my senior parents are too far for their comfort because they cannot walk so much, we in fact brought wheel chairs with us. The concierge doesn't want to change their room saying that its not possible because we booked in hotels.com. My parents were not happy. And when they arrived in their room, we found that the concierge accidentally switched the 3 bedroom room which supposedly for my kids to my parents. By that time my parents were tired from the walk. Later we found out that the 1 bedroom for my parents is even further. We had to complain, thankfully concierge changed my parents room to one that is closer but it was a downgrade because the room I paid for supposedly have a view of mount Yotei, this new room does not have a view at all. As for the ski area, theres a shuttle that comes around every 20mins to bring the beginner skiers to Dot Base. So if you are 1 min late , you'll have to wait 20mins. When we got there, the instructors are not in the Ace Quad Lift as was in the email & they're not wearing green, they're wearing blue & in the 2nd floor of building, you have to ask people around, guy at the counter said they get a lot of questions like that from setsu guest and told me to let Setsu concierge know and pointed the way, while the kids are all wearing their heavy gears with them. Their Italian resto melo milo is not good. their Luke's steak house is very good. Room is very complete, comfortable and clean.

My family has enjoyed our stay at Setsu a lot. The room is spacious for 3 of us. We love the interior decor and the view from our room. The room is very cozy and comfortable. We also love that we can leave a few windows ajar to allow natural air ventilation without turning on air conditioning.

The staff was amazing! The experience of staying at the Setsu Niseko is something that my family and I will cherish. The shuttle service for skiing is very convenient and the location makes dining very walkable. The room was in excellent condition with an amazing mountain view. We will be staying here again!

Overall the hardware are super great including the room design and facilities offered, however, the servicing level in reception are quite below standard. Asked for 12pm check out and the lady said we are full, asked for booking dinning at night but i am told all full except the only one without booking needed. Hence we need to go out seeking restaurant for dinner amid the snowy season. After checked out, i want to call a taxi to drive us to another hotel but then came up with a private car without meter, the price is uncertain but the reception girl didn't mention and sent us to taxi. Nightmare!

The view from the room was great! (Mt. Yotei) Our room was two bedroom plus Tatami room with a big living dining room which was spacious and clean. Perfect for Family Gathering. Breakfast was really good. Especially coffee. The hotel staff was kind and helpful but it seems that some of them do not have much experience in hotel service. Overall it was a nice hotel. I'll come back here again!

Absolutely amazing property. Friendly welcoming staff. Easy to communicate in English. Studio room was immaculate. Well furnished. Clean. Location was convenient to everything with a hotel bus servicing Gondola and Dot base every 10-15mins. Great ski lockers. Rhythm on-site. Onsen (shared and private available). Gym. Great Restaurants. Great bar. Business centre. Definitely would recommend this place to any traveller looking for a bit of luxury, comfort and convenience with a fantastic staff team.

Great new (2022) hotel. Great location, walking distance to gondola (grand hirafu) and they also provide a shuttle that leaves very often. The rooms were impeccable, beautifully decorated and very spacious. We booked a one bedroom suite. The staff was very attentive, the onsen and gym facilities were top notch. and having access to a ski rental shop on site was fantastic. I also loved how they offer lockers for your winter gear. The breakfast (included with our stay) was great, and we tried Afuri for ramen one night, which was tasty as well. If I go back I will stay here again.
