The bathroom lacks a glass partition, and the overhead shower is unusable. Parking requires a walk from the basement to the lobby. There's no drinking water in the room, but you can refill it outside. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so this is understandable. Hopefully, things will improve in the future.

I chose Ibis Simpang Lima because of its strategic location, friendly staff, and ample parking. I got a room with a view of the wall of the neighboring building, even though I requested a room with a view of Simpang Lima. The TV didn't work, so I had to call the concierge. When I first checked in, I noticed a hair clip left behind by the previous occupant.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staff were very friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean, and the hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get everywhere. The room's view directly overlooks Simpang Lima. If you're staying on the weekend, there's a CFD next Sunday, and every night, there are many vendors selling food in front of the hotel, making it very busy.

The place is quite nice since it’s near to the center. The room was also comfortable and equipped with pretty much everything.

There is an odor coming out from the drainage, maybe due to no exhaust in the bathroom.

Staying in a Family Room is incredibly comfortable, with three beds, eliminating the need for an extra bed. It's very close to Simpang Lima Square, making it easy to find food.

This was my first time staying at Ibis Style Simpang Lima Semarang. My family and I stayed for one night before returning to Jakarta. The location is very strategic, in the city center. The service was very friendly. I was amazed by the beautiful room decor. The room was located on the third floor, close to the restaurant. The bed was large. The food was quite varied and very tasty. We will definitely stay there again next time we visit Semarang.

The hotel doesn't look ready. Facilities are minimal. For that price, there's no swimming pool. Oh yeah, there's no welcome drink either.
