On this full-day tour, you will be visiting the 400-year-old Nikko Toshogu Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing the remains of Edo period's founder. You will then walk along Lake Chuzenji, which was created after the eruption of Mount Nantai, before heading to Kegon Falls. One of Japan's greatest waterfalls, it can be viewed from a free observation platform accessible by foot. Also pass by the Hanyu Parking Area that features long-established shops dating back to the Edo Period.

Tour Itinerary

- Make your own way to Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo (08:05 - 08:15)
- Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal (08:50 - 09:00)
- Nikko Toshogu Shrine (90 minutes) | The sleeping cat and three monkeys carvings, as well as part or all of the Yomeimon Gate, will not be visible due to major repair and restoration work.
- Japanese-style lunch (if option selected)
- Walk along Lake Chuzenji (10 minutes)
- Kegon Falls (30 minutes) | Due to heavy traffic from 11 October to 06 November and/or other road conditions, the Taiyuuin Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls, or Tamozawa Imperial Villa will be visited instead.
- Optional end of tour at Tobu Nikko Station (16:30 - 17:00)
- Hanyu Parking Area (20 minutes)
- End of tour at Shinjuku Station West Exit (19:00 - 19:30)
