The approximate moving times are as follows:
- Naoshima Miyanoura Port ⇔ Chichu Art Museum, about 2.2 km, 33 minutes
- Naoshima Miyaura Port ⇔ Honmura ANDO MUSEUM, about 2.3 km, 35 minutes
- Chichu Art Museum ⇔ Honmura ANDO MUSEUM, About 1.9 km, 29 minutes

The main areas of the Setouchi Triennale in Naoshima include the Benesse House Area, Honmura Area, and Miyaura Area.

Benesse House Area:

Designed by Tadao Ando, the Chichu Art Museum is famous for displaying Monet's "Water Lilies," and the building itself is a work of art. In addition, the Lee Ufan Art Museum displays Lee Ufan's paintings and sculptures from the 1970s to the present, and the building has a semi-underground structure. The Benesse Art Museum is a facility that combines a hotel and an art gallery, where you can enjoy art while staying at the hotel.

Honmura Area:

The Honmura Area has launched a "Art House Project" for artists to create and display their works by renovating old houses. The fusion of houses and artworks brings visitors a unique experience.

Miyaura Area:

The Naoshima Bathhouse 'I♥Yu', an art facility designed by artist Shinro Otake where you can actually take a bath, and the Setouchi Museum, where Yayoi Kusama's 'Red Pumpkin' is also set up as if welcoming the arrival of the ferry, are symbols of Naoshima.

During the Setouchi Triennale, the entire island comes alive with an artistic atmosphere, with various events and workshops. Naoshima can be said to be one of Japan's representative islands that promotes regional revitalization through art.

"Uno Chinu / Uno Kochinu - the Black Sea Bream of Uno": This is a huge artwork created by the artist group "Yodogawa -Technique" using floating garbage and waste collected from around Uno Port. The work is based on the theme of black sea bream, showing the artist's concern for environmental protection and waste recycling. (The work was first shown at the Setouchi Triennale 2010)

The symbol of Naoshima Miyaura Port, the "Red Pumpkin", is a huge artwork with a distinctive water jade pattern created by Yayoi Kusama and placed there in 1994.

(Owner: Naoshima Town, Design: Sou Fujimoto Architects, Photo: Jin Fukuda) In March 2015, the white mesh dome building "Naoshima Pavilion" was installed to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the implementation of the Naoshima Town system. The building looks like a cloud floating in the air, and visitors can go inside to rest.

The Naoshima Port Terminal in the Honmura area on the east side of Naoshima has a hemispherical roof made of FRP that is connected to each other, giving it a light impression like clouds or bubbles. The station has a spacious waiting area, providing a comfortable resting space.

"Uno Port": As the gateway port to Naoshima and other islands as well as Shikoku, it still supports the local economic and transportation development.
