About Ziptrek Ecotours Queenstown

Experience world's steepest tree-to-tree zipline adventure at Ziptrek Ecotours in Queenstown. Journey to the treehouse located at the Skyline Gondola upper terminal while your knowledgeable guide shares Ziptrek's award-winning efforts for the conservation of New Zealand's forests. Enjoy four sets of thrilling rides reaching a speed of up to 50 kilometres per hour and glide through the forest canopy with breathtaking views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range.

You Should Also Know This

Check-in for the Ziptrek tour at the Ziptrek Treehouse situated atop Bob's Peak.

You may opt to take a gondola ride (own expense) to Bob's Peak, and exit left from the upper gondola terminal to reach the Ziptrek Treehouse.

Alternatively, you can take the Tiki Walking Trail and find the Ziptrek Treehouse on the left side upon reaching the top.

Excludes: Skyline Gondola pass. Please be informed that one pass already covers a return ride, and no refunds will be provided if you are only able to use one-way and opt to hike instead.

Closed toe shoes are compulsory for safety reasons.

Warnings

Check-in time is 15 minutes before the tour starting at the Ziptrek Treehouse. Please allow 40-60 minutes to travel by Gondola from the base to the meeting point.

In cases of extreme weather conditions, this activity may be cancelled.

Children five years old and below are not allowed to join the activity.

Children 14 years old and below must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.

Guests under 30 kilograms (65 pounds) may zip tandem with a guide.

Travellers above 125 kilograms are not allowed to join the activity.

Guests who are pregnant and/or have high blood pressure and heart disease are not advised to join the activity.
