Get to experience what it’s like to be on a massive tongue-shaped sandbar right in the middle of the clear blue sea. Carbin Reef is the center of the 32-hectare Sagay Marine Reserve, a sanctuary that was established in 1999 where you’ll find many endemic marine species, including turtles, corals, fish, and more. On the surface, it may look like a plain strip of sand, but beneath the waters, thousands of beautiful sea creatures and coral formations are just waiting to be discovered. The water in Carbin Reef is on the shallow side so you can enjoy swimming and snorkeling, but not diving.
