You will travel to Oban for a tour and tasting at the distillery in the heart of the town. After a little more exploring, you'll make your way to Kennacraig to catch the evening ferry to Islay. As you cross, you'll see the beautiful surrounding islands before heading to your B&B in Islay to settle in.With three full days to explore, your guide will be on hand to recommend some of their favourite spots including empty beaches, whitewashed villages, ancient sites, and local wildlife, With around 3000 people and 9 distilleries, the chances of finding a dram are excellent especially as you visit the distilleries the island is famous for. You'll visit Lagavulin, Laphroaig, Ardbeg, Kilchoman, Bunnahabhain, Caol Ila, Ardnahoe, Bowmore and Bruichladdich!On your final day, you'll catch the ferry back to the mainland and explore the loch-side town of Inveraray. You'll then travel down the shores of Loch Fyne and Loch Long before climbing up to the Rest and Be Thankful pass for sweeping views.
