Visiting Aquaria KLCC was one of the most memorable highlights of my trip to Kuala Lumpur. Nestled beneath the iconic Petronas Twin Towers in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Aquaria offers an incredible underwater journey that feels both educational and entertaining.
The experience starts with interactive exhibits introducing Malaysia’s rich aquatic biodiversity, and it continues through themed sections such as the Evolution Zone, the Flooded Forest, and the famous 150-meter-long underwater tunnel, a moving walkway where sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles, and colorful schools of fish glide gracefully above and around you. It truly feels like stepping into another world.
I highly recommend purchasing tickets online before your visit. Not only does it save time by skipping the long queues at the ticket counter (which can be quite crowded, especially on weekends and holidays), but online bookings also often come with discounted rates and seasonal promotions.
