Identity Registration Instruction

According to the latest laws and regulations in Taiwan, customers must complete the real-name registration of the SIM card before using in Taiwan. If the information does not meet the requirements, your real-name registration will be rejected and cannot be used in Taiwan. The personal information is only used for real-name registration.

Step 1: Go to the registration website https://www.joytelecom.com/en/realname/

Step 2:

For physical SIM card: Enter the serial number on the sim frame in the ICCID/SN field

For sSIM: Enter the product code, stated in your eSIM email in the ICCID/SN field

Step 3: Choose Passport in the Select field

Step 4: Upload your passport photo, personal information page

Step 5: Click Submit to finish the registration

Notes:

You can pre-register before travelling to Taiwan

Your passport photo needs to be taken on a clear, flat surface with all information clearly shown without having any obstacle and/or shine to it

If uploading existing image, the file must be in JPG/PNG/BMP/TIFF format, maximum file size is 10 MB
