What You'll Experience

Explore the famous Tham Nam Lod Cave
Get on a bamboo raft to travel between cave chambers with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites
Learn about the mysterious ancient coffins in the cave
Visit a Black Lahu village at Ban Jabo

This 1-day program will take you to explore Tham Nam Lod, one of the amazing limestone caves in Mae Hong Son Province. It’s the largest and longest (yet easily accessible) ones among so many caves in the area. And since there is a stream running through the cave, at some point you’ll have to get on a bamboo raft to travel from chamber to chamber. Apart from the size, the beauty, and the bamboo raft trip, some of you may find the mysterious ancient coffins in the cave quite intriguing. After you have enough of the cave adventure, your guide will take you to the Black Lahu village at Ban Jabo to appreciate their unique lifestyle and see how these mountain people practice crop rotation.
