About Purbalingga Terminal

As a Type B terminal, Terminal Purbalingga is essential to the regional transport network, handling numerous local and intercity routes. Situated in Kalikabong Village, Kalimanah District, Purbalingga Regency, it is well-positioned on a major road, facilitating convenient access for travelers and ensuring effective connectivity with nearby areas. It ranks as the second largest terminal in Purbalingga Regency after the Type A Bobotsari Terminal. Additionally, Terminal Purbalingga serves as a hub for the Trans Jateng Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Corridor I, connecting Purwokerto and Purbalingga.

This service, inaugurated by Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo on August 13, 2018, operates 14 medium-sized buses, each with a capacity of 40 passengers (20 seated and 20 standing). The service offers the benefits of air conditioning, punctual schedules, and frequent bus arrivals to minimize wait times. The Purwokerto - Purbalingga corridor includes 47 stops, with 14 stops towards Purbalingga and 23 towards Purwokerto.
