Start your two weeks itinerary in Taiwan by visiting its capital city of Taipei. Choose a reasonably priced hotel room to spend more on other experiences and enjoy Taipei to the fullest.

When arriving at Taoyuan International Airport, go straight to the hotel. Take a little rest and get yourself ready to explore Taipei and its surroundings. You need at least two full days just to cover the main sights in Taipei.

A temple visit is a must, so look at some temples in the city, namely Bao-An Temple, Longshan Temple, and Bangka Qingshui Temple. You will need a full day to explore these temples.

The next day, relax and take a walk around the city. If you feel hungry, explore Taipei’s famous food streets and markets. Go to Yongkang Street, Shenkeng Old Street, and Danshui Old Street. Taste the uniqueness of Taipei’s local foods, such as beef noodle soup, xiao long bao, and pineapple cake.
