Economy Class

Airport Lounge
Air China Airport Lounge is located at Terminal 3 in the Beijing Capital International Airport. Air China Passenger Policy
Infant Passenger Policy (0-2 Years Old)
- For safety reasons, an infant who is less than 14 days old or a premature infant who is less than 90 days old will not be accepted for carriage.
- An infant who is 14 days to two years old must be accompanied by an adult who has attained the age of 18 during travel.
- Air China provides a safety belt for the infant.
- Request for infant service must be made at the time of booking.
- The fare for an infant under the age of two on the day of travel is 10% of the normal adult fare, and no seat is provided for the infant.
- For a weight-based system, the free baggage allowance is 10 kg and cannot exceed 100 x 60 x 40 cm.
- For a piece-based system, the free baggage allowance is one piece, with a maximum weight of 23 kg.
Child Passenger Policy (2-12 Years Old)
- Unaccompanied Minor (UM) refers to children between the ages of five and 12 who come on board without being accompanied by an adult.
- Air China will provide an UM with a small hanging bag which can help the child keep all travel documents and boarding passes.
- The child needs to hold the valid ID used at the time of ticket purchase and the “Request for UM Service”.
- Air China’s ground service staff will help the child with check-in, customs clearance, security check and baggage check, and accompany him or her while waiting for boarding.
- After boarding, the ground service staff will hand over the child to flight attendants.
Pregnant Passenger Policy
- Under 32 weeks of pregnancy: pregnant women can travel as a regular passenger.
- Between 32 weeks and 35 weeks of pregnancy: pregnant women are required to present a Certificate of Diagnosis issued by a doctor within seven days prior to departure.
- Over 35 weeks pregnancy: passenger will not be permitted to board.
- Women who are still within 14 days of delivery are not permitted to board.
Disabled Passenger Policy
- Air China provides wheelchairs for use in the aisles of the cabin for passengers who are completely immobile.
- If the passenger cannot sit in an upright position in the seat during the entire flight, they can request a Stretcher Passenger (STCR) service.
- Reservation for the wheelchair cabin and STCR services must be made at any of the ticketing offices before the flight departure.
- For safety reasons, the stretcher passenger must be accompanied by at least one adult passenger who has attained the age of 18 or a medical assistant.
- Only one stretcher passenger can be accepted for carriage on each flight.
