Airline Profile & History

Book Citilink flights on Traveloka

Citilink is a low-cost airline in the Garuda Indonesia Group and uses the flight code QG. Its fares suit travelers comparing Indonesian domestic flights and available international journeys, but the aircraft, route and booking conditions affect what the ticket includes. Check the complete fare rather than choosing only by the starting price.

Search your departure, destination and dates in Traveloka Flights. Where Citilink is available, compare the arrival time, baggage and any extras you need. A timetable heading or airline destination list is not a guarantee of a flight on every date.

Citilink schedules and Saudi Arabia flight searches

If you are looking for Citilink flights to Saudi Arabia, search the actual destination and travel dates before planning the rest of the journey. Citilink offers international charter services, including services arranged for clients in the Middle East. A charter offered as part of a travel package is different from a scheduled flight sold as an individual ticket.

For a package or charter, ask the organizer to confirm the airline, operating dates, airports, baggage, return arrangement and documents supplied with the booking. A past departure or advertised package does not establish a daily scheduled service, and a charter may not appear in an ordinary flight search.

For a scheduled journey, use the results available for your dates and compare connections where offered. Do not substitute a different arrival airport without checking how it affects your onward transport and package arrangements. Verify an issued flight's departure updates with the operating airline; a booking timetable and live flight status serve different purposes.

Compare the fare and extras

Read the baggage entitlement for the specific result, along with seat selection, meal options and change conditions. Domestic Airbus, ATR and international itineraries do not all have the same checked-baggage allowance. A benefit advertised for a particular direct booking or membership promotion may have purchase-channel conditions.

Compare fares using your actual needs. A traveler taking only a compliant cabin bag may prefer a different option from a family carrying checked suitcases and selecting seats together. Include the cost of the required extras in the total for each direction.

When comparing a promotion, read its eligible dates, route and booking conditions. An expired baggage promotion or an older fare screenshot is not evidence of the current entitlement. Keep the issued ticket and any extra-purchase receipt so the allowance can be checked later.

Citilink checked baggage

Citilink's current published standard allowance for domestic Airbus flights is 15 kg of checked baggage, alongside the 7 kg cabin allowance. Domestic ATR services have a 10 kg checked allowance. International baggage varies by route and ticket, so confirm the exact entitlement before packing.

The advertised 20 kg domestic Airbus allowance combines the standard 15 kg with a 5 kg LinkMiles benefit for eligible members logged in and buying directly through Citilink's website or app. It should not be assumed to apply to a Traveloka-issued ticket merely because you have a membership account.

If you need more checked baggage, review the additional allowance offered for your booking before going to the airport. Do not treat a purchased allowance as permission to exceed the airline's limit for a single bag. Sports equipment and other unusual items can also need separate acceptance arrangements.

For a trip with more than one airline or separate tickets, check each segment's allowance. A larger allowance on the first flight does not establish the same entitlement on the next. Ask where baggage must be collected and whether another check-in is required.

Cabin baggage on Airbus and ATR aircraft

Citilink permits a cabin bag and a small personal item within a combined weight of 7 kg. For Airbus services, the main cabin bag's maximum dimensions are 56 x 36 x 23 cm. ATR aircraft have a smaller limit of 41 x 34 x 17 cm, so a suitcase suitable for an Airbus flight can be too large for an ATR segment.

Measure the packed bag, including handles and outside pockets, and check the aircraft indicated in the itinerary. Keep the personal item suitable for the permitted storage space. A retailer's cabin-size label does not replace the dimensions published by the operating airline.

Before handing a bag over for hold transport, remove items restricted to the cabin, including permitted spare batteries and power banks. Check Citilink's current battery conditions for your items rather than assuming that every device can be packed in the same way.

Aircraft and seat selection

Citilink's published fleet and seat plans include Airbus and ATR layouts. These differ in cabin space and seating, so review the aircraft for your flight rather than expecting one standard layout across the airline. A fleet page describes aircraft the airline uses; it does not prove that a particular type serves your route on the chosen date.

Green Zone and other selectable seats can be offered for an additional charge. Read the current seat map and the conditions of the seat you choose. If you do not purchase a seat, the airline can allocate one automatically; that does not guarantee a preferred row or seats together for every companion.

Seat purchases apply by flight segment. On a connecting or return journey, review each flight rather than assuming a selected seat covers the entire booking. Exit-row seating has additional acceptance requirements and may need airport handling.

Online check-in and the airline reference

Use the Citilink reservation details supplied with your issued ticket when retrieving the booking. Keep the airline reference separate from the Traveloka booking ID. If the reservation cannot be located, check the passenger name and reference before contacting support.

Online check-in eligibility and the opening window should be checked in the current Citilink interface for your flight. The airline's published pages have used different opening-window descriptions, so do not plan airport arrival around an assumed universal online window. If the service is unavailable for your passenger or itinerary, use the airport counter.

After online check-in, passengers with checked bags still need to use baggage drop. Bring the boarding pass and accepted identification, and leave time for any document verification. An e-ticket confirms the booking; it does not replace every airport processing step.

Airport arrival and counter closing times

Citilink's published airport guidance says domestic counters open two hours before departure and normally close 30 minutes before departure. At Soekarno-Hatta, the stated domestic closing time is 45 minutes before departure. International counters open three hours before departure and close one hour before departure.

Use these as processing deadlines, not suggested terminal arrival times. Leave time for the queue, baggage drop, security and the walk to the gate. Check the airport and terminal on the issued itinerary before arranging transport; a city can have more than one airport.

Boarding has a separate deadline. Once check-in is complete, follow the boarding pass and airport screens, and stay available for a gate change. For an international trip, prepare the entry and transit documents required for your nationality and route.

Food and onboard services

Review the meal and drink options available for the selected flight. A low base fare should not be treated as including every onboard purchase. Where advance meal selection is offered, check its ordering deadline and keep the confirmation with the booking.

Seat features and entertainment depend on the aircraft and product. Prepare your own offline entertainment when useful, and follow the crew's instructions for electronic devices. A paid seat choice is a seating purchase rather than a guarantee of the services offered in a different cabin.

Children and passenger assistance

Enter each child's correct passenger details and arrange the relevant seat and accompanying-adult requirements before purchase. If you plan to bring a stroller or other child equipment, check how it will be handled and whether advance arrangements are needed.

For wheelchair or other assistance, contact the supported airline or booking channel ahead of departure. Describe the help required and include any connecting flights. If bringing personal mobility equipment, provide its dimensions and battery details for review.

Travel requiring a medical approval or special arrangement should be checked directly with Citilink. Do not rely on an older summary of age or pregnancy limits as approval for an individual passenger.

Manage booking, rescheduling and refunds

For a Citilink ticket purchased through Traveloka, begin with My Booking and the support options attached to that purchase. Citilink directs passengers who bought through an online or traditional travel agent to that agent for a cancellation or refund application.

A voluntary date change depends on the fare conditions, the replacement flight and the applicable charges. Review the proposal before confirming it. A submitted refund request is not the same as approval, and the amount and timing depend on the ticket and circumstances.

Keep your contact details current so booking updates can reach you. If Citilink changes the flight, use the options communicated for that itinerary rather than assuming that the ordinary voluntary-change rules apply unchanged. Save the original and revised ticket details for support.

How to book Citilink tickets

  1. Search your airports, dates and passenger types in Traveloka Flights.
  2. Compare available Citilink results, including connections and arrival dates.
  3. Review the aircraft where shown, baggage entitlement and fare conditions.
  4. Enter passenger and contact details accurately and select any extras offered.
  5. Check the complete amount and terms before payment.
  6. Keep the issued e-ticket and Citilink reservation details for check-in and assistance.

Compare nearby dates when your plans allow, using the same baggage and seat requirements. There is no fixed weekday or advance-booking interval that guarantees the cheapest ticket; choose an available itinerary with conditions that fit the trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every Citilink domestic Airbus ticket include 20 kg checked baggage?
No. The current standard is 15 kg. The extra 5 kg LinkMiles benefit has eligible logged-in direct website or app purchase conditions; do not assume it applies to a Traveloka ticket.
Can I use the same cabin suitcase on Citilink Airbus and ATR flights?
Only if it fits both limits. Airbus allows a main bag up to 56 x 36 x 23 cm; ATR has a smaller 41 x 34 x 17 cm limit. The cabin bag and personal item have a combined 7 kg limit.
Does a Citilink Saudi Arabia charter mean there is a daily scheduled ticket?
No. A charter package and a scheduled individual ticket are different products. Confirm dates, airports, baggage and return arrangements with the organizer, or search the scheduled flights available for your dates.
What should I do if Citilink online check-in is unavailable?
Check eligibility and the current window in the airline's interface. Use the airport counter if your booking cannot be checked in online, allowing time for baggage and documents.
Does Citilink have the same domestic counter deadline at every airport?
No. Its published general domestic closing time is 30 minutes before departure, while Soekarno-Hatta is 45 minutes. Confirm the requirement for your departure and arrive with enough time to complete processing.
Does one Citilink seat purchase cover my return and connecting flights?
Seat selection applies by segment. Review the seat and charge for each flight; a choice on one segment does not establish the same assignment elsewhere.
Where do I request a refund for a Citilink ticket bought on Traveloka?
Start with My Booking or Traveloka support. Citilink directs agent-issued ticket refund applications to the issuing agent, and approval depends on the ticket and circumstances.
How should I compare Citilink promo prices?
Compare the total for your dates with the same baggage, seats and change requirements. Check eligible routes and purchase conditions rather than relying on an expired promotion or base fare alone.
