Batman Hill on Collins

The location close to Southern Cross Station suited due to travel to and from the airport and regional Victoria. The economy room was suitable for an overnight stay; however, if staying for a longer period would recommend an upgrade

Convenient to Southern Cross Railway Station . Room 304 really is only suitable for 1 person ( very small & cramped)

Close to Marvel stadium and Southern Cross station and DFO

Good location, my room was small and dark looked out the window at a brick wall , the window blind was broken, shower repeatedly changed temperature, cracked tile on shower floor, ac/ heater smelt musty when turned on and corridor / hallway had stains on the carpet. Probably last visit .

Room was at top of hotel up iron stairs Some of the lifts were out of order Shower prayed water all over the floor Beds were OK Location pretty central, near station, river and other downtown areas Underwhelming experience in truth A number of other guests were underwhelmed as well

Generally this was pretty good. Location wise this is really convenient. I had an apartment which has tidy albeit could have done with a bit of an upgrade (nothing that would prevent me coming back) The lifts were out of order for most of my stay and the room is quite loud so if you're a light sleeper take ear plugs

It was perfect for my activities in Melbourne and central to a lot of places so that I walk easily. Loved the smaller hotel and atmosphere and the heritage style design.

This review is likely a little tainted by Jet-lag, but here goes: Positives: We had apartment 41 and it was a good size with a nice kitchenette feature to prepare and serve your own food. Bed was MASSIVE and pretty comfortable. Negatives: No information provided in check-in regarding breakfast, housekeeping etc. Trams start “donging” their bells outside the room from around 6am. Housekeeping was hit and miss; we put the “$10 voucher for no clean” outside the room and was not provided and then put a “make up room” sign outside another day which was not done and the sign still on the door after being out for 12 hours from 0900-2100. We’ve now checked into the Crowne Plaza and even the immediate welcome is chalk-and-cheese compared to Batman’s Hill on Collins.

I like the property, but the room was very small considering it was the heritage room not a standard room. Bed was up against the wall which would not have been good for two adults I picked a better room so it would be bigger than a standard room otherwise the property was great and great location

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Property clean and convenient access to all areas of the CBD

Close proximity to Southern Cross and Marvel stadium. We had our evening meal there which was good. Staff very friendly

Convenient for access to Southern Cross station. Quirky lifts and some stairs seem unavoidable.
