The hotel is excellent and the staff are helpful. It is our hotel of choice when coming to Canberra. Have stayed there multiple times. Rooms are well appointed and they give you plenty of space.

We stayed one night and did not order food. The room was lovely, big enough with nice seating for us to have a casual meal brought in, with family. The balcony was a bonus. It's wonderful to be able to open a door. Most importantly, the staff are fantastic.

Aircon controls on wall in room didn’t work. Drain in shower blocked and overflowed. Two meal options we ordered off the limited menu in restaurant weren’t available which was very disappointing, which made it extremely limited.

No vodaphone reception in king lux rooms on 2nd floor. When questioned what rooms I had previously stayed in(for room layout info) was asked if I was sure it was the Deco and not The Avenue. I have stayed there at least four times but they could not find me on their system. When it first opened,it was so fancy but it is starting to show its age.

Absolutely 10/10 highly recommend this place, there is not even one single thing to fault. Incredible room, with tech savvy switches (like closing/opening the curtains while sitting in bed to do not disturb on/off buttons). Spotlessly clean & comfortable bed & couches ! Great shower pressure! Beautiful views ! Large TV & brilliant wifi! Their incentive for exchanging a days housekeeping for a $10 voucher in exchange for any food/beverage you get from the minibar or restaurant is a wonderful idea ! I used it and had no issues in claiming it. Last but not least, staff are super friendly, willing and helpful. They make you feel very welcome and go above and beyond ! Loved it so much; already booked in another night here :)
