Staff were considerate in allocating our room close to the coffee and breakfast lounge as I had a foot injury. The room was clean and the bed comfortable and showers great. Plus, they happily organized a taxi for us.

Wow, what a hidden little gem 💎. Our stay was so relaxing and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the pool area has such a tranquil atmosphere. We will definitely be back. The buffet breakfast selections were amazing and the cocktails were pretty darn good too. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

Exceeded our expectations. Rooms had been tastefully updated, particularly the stylish modern bathroom. Our king bed was very comfortable. Bar and restaurant area were modern and attractive. The complimentary "continental" breakfast was way more than we expected, hash browns, bacon, eggs, beans, fried rice, pancakes as well as all your basic cereal and toast options. Saved us an extra $50 minimum on brekky and coffee between the 2 of us. Would definitely stay again.

The receptionist (asia gal without glasses) wasn't too happy to help at all. Quite rude and no smile, not helpful at all. Waratah Suite is single level, huge dinning table and a well equipped kitchen. We had a pleasant 4 days 3 nights stay. Wish the receptionist is more professional to upkeep a high standard of this hotel.

Staff was unhelpful during check-in. Did not mention many things - i did not know that breakfast was provided and she was in a rush to get rid of me. No toothpaste or toiletries or microwave. Walls are thin, I could hear my neighbours clearly. Reception is a drive away from room which is not helpful. Room was clean though

Not your standard hotel and a little different location to the other hotels in Geelong. But we were very happy with the room, the facilities and the staff. Included breakfast was just what we needed and the Thai restaurant was quick, easy, well priced and tasty.

We were awakened in the middle of the night by a very caustic odor and left prior to 5am as one of us was almost unable to breathe. A petrol station attendant told us the Geelong area has strong odors from the Gas Plant when the wind blows a certain way. Recovery time from this gas attach was about three hours of burning eyes and throat. Not hotels fault but would never stay there again.

Lovely spot, spacious architectural purpose built design in 1985. A time piece in a different part of Geelong. Good for young families. Lovely Thai food. Reasonably quiet.

After reading some reviews on this hotel I was reluctant to book, however I did. I am glad I did. Lovely clean hotel with comfy beds. In a quiet location. Great Thai food on site and nice breakfast. Breakfast was included in the price. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location about 20 minutes walk from the center of town. The staff are fantastic. Marie checked me and really helped get me oriented. Even the breakfast cook was friendly and happy.

The room itself was clean and clearly been renovated nicely in recent years. I did not use the pool or restaurant but I have to say the exterior of the property looked run down and did not reflect the photos on the website. The wifi was excellent, shower was great and the 2 staff members I met were polite.
