Really yummy food , staff amazing. Accommodation very basic.

A lovely looking historic hotel in the centre of the CBD, I can live with the shared bathroom/toilet given the age. The website stated there was a kettle, there was none, nor tea or coffee making facilities. lousy heating, and a very thin quilt. We froze.

Always a great stay and great value

Very convenient and well-equipped considering it's a 150-year-old pub. Even has a pinball machine! A++ all round.

Good location and bad location all at once. Right across the street from Chinatown and the central market, but traffic and construction all through the night being right in the CBD. Very early mornings due to the loud construction nearby. Bar/restaurant below was good. Staff was helpful.

Proximity to Bus Station

This is a very randown hotel. There is no lift and you need to hand carry your luggage to your room. You need to check out your room at 10am and you can't store your luggage in the hotel because the hotel reception is closed. There are no bottle water and the toilet is shared. I will never come back this hotel. Oh btw the room insolation is very poor. You can heard very clearly what the people is talking outside your room.

Good for if you need a bed for one night, rooms are dimly lit but it does the job if you need a place for one night.

Staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly, Hotel was just as described, old style pub accommodation, basic rooms are comfortable and clean, the building itself is a bit beat up in places but that adds to the charm. it was a great place to stay. construction site across the road was a bit noisy

The hotel itself was fine, bare-bones as far as the rooms but a nice bar with good food, friendly staff. However, the Expedia listing did not say that the rooms all have shared bath. It wasn't a problem for me, especially because the hotel wasn't full, but some people would not be happy to learn it at check-in.

The noise affected my sleep

Rooms were clean and quiet considering the construction nearby. Shower and toilet facilities were clean and despite the block arrangement was reasonably private. Location was good - short walk from most points of interest.

A great old pub with lots of character. Basic facilities (reflected in price) but clean and safe. Great staff and fabulous location.

The location is convinient if you don't have a car. It's a basic, city based accomodation. It has a bar and the restaurant downstairs, hosts live events, expect some level of noise. It's a heritage building and the decor matches the era. Relaxed, no fuss vibe.

Very central and the Markets are fantastic. Chinatown also next door. Easy to get around walking or by tram. But unfortunately the noise was a problem. Friday and Saturday live music. Construction work outside still ongoing from 5AM.
