I always stay at this hotel whenever I'm in town. In fact, I stayed there over 100 times. The quality service starts with their friendly Reception. Their system registers visitors in detail, and rewards any returning visitors. Not only is chech-in super quick, but free upgrade is also offered from time to time. When there's a change to their house rules, e.g. an update to Wi-Fi password, they would inform me proactively as well. I need to express my great appreciation of the excellent service provided by Reception. Thank you Megaboom for hiring such wonderful staff at Reception. It really makes my stay memorable and unforgettable.

I am very pleased with this hotel. Perfect location, close to public transportation, easy walk to Circular Quay, Darling Harbor, Hyde Park & Chinatown. Barebones accommodation, but totally adequate. Laundromat is available. Iron & ironing board are free and available. Front desk staff is excellent and very helpful.

I have used this establishment a few times without any problems. Close to Tram stop, Pitt St Mall and walking distance to Hyde Park and Darling Harbour. My last visit was not to the standard I have experienced before, therefore not a great review. This visit, I was given an upgrade, and the room was great, but the bathroom was a disappointment. It was large but only a shower curtain, not a screen. There was also a very small lip from the shower pan to the floor, which allowed water to spill on the main floor. Had to lay towels down to stop water spreading over the bathroom. If you are looking for a cheap stay in Sydney, I would recommend, due to the location and convenience.

Extremely convenient for public transport, entertainment, shopping and eating options.
Comfortable and simple accom showing the usual wear and rear for a less expensive property.
Stayed on an upper floor so train rumble reported by others was not an issue at all.

Happy to have been given an upgrade, after my last visit. Good to have a chemist across the road, a Cole’s supermarket next door to that, a club nearby. Short walk to George Street Trams.
Only disappointment was the shower, there was only a shower curtain and a small lip before water was all over the floor. Needed to lay a spare towel on the floor.

Room was looking a bit dated. Was booked in for a King room, then booked another 2 nights in a King Deluxe. When I arrived, I questioned at reception, about leaving my bags in the morning, as I had made another booking for the Deluxe room, I was told that I had already been upgraded. Very poor upgrade to a Deluxe room, and they needed to redo my room key, for the extra nights. Didn’t want to argue with them.
