I thought it was OK for a cheap Motel

Felt very unsafe with a baby staying at property. Lots and lots of loud voices and partying at night time. Felt very unsafe in the area aswell. Staff were lovely when dealing with them at check in and cleaners. Rooms were old but very clean. Would not stay again due to type of people staying in rooms and partying, yelling and coming and going at night. Don’t know how many times I checked if the door was locked.

Quiet place and convenient to engage in business activities while staying there

Very budget. Adjacent smoking rooms made mine smell. Can do better somewhere else

Location was great. Aircon not working correctly.

Too close to a pub that closes at 5 am. Patrons exit and make excessive noise.

It is a good basic motel. Value for money, and the room was quite spacious.

Definitely not the best experience, not even a good experience. The owners obviously live at the property but probably not the best idea to have a piss up at your business during the week which escalates into a fight. Revving your motorbike probably also not the best idea while you have guests either. Overall worst place I have stayed in my travels by far. Please get your act together guys, your motel could be great if you found your passion for it!

The smoke alarm was missing. Comfortable bed and quiet location. The property is dated and could be cleaner in those hard to get to places.

The staff here are absolutely disgusting. The way they present themselves and constantly outside the motel every afternoon drinking and blasting music and always hearing them swearing and yelling. This made me and my family feel so unsafe. Then our room was disgusting. The floors were disgusting live they’ve never been vacuumed, our room was full of dust, it stunk, the fridge had a half eaten biscuit in it, our kettle had ants and water in it, both the shower and toilet doors don’t even close, we didn’t get the free wifi, our cutlery and plates were soaking wet when I went to use them and the toilet and bathroom are separate but right next to each other and the wall doesn’t go all the way up so you can look over into the toilet. Plus the shower is extremely inconvenient like they expect you to get dressed and undressed in a wet shower because there’s no privacy or doors or anywhere else to get dressed bar the shower

The rooms were clean and the staff are friendly. Made us feel like home away from home. Will definitely stay again next time we go to Mackay. Also close to shops.👍😊😊

worst property ive ever stayed at, rooms were that filthy i slept on top of the blankets, alot of mould in the bathroom (like alot) half smoked cigarette in the room on a bench, crap all over the floor, bugs and stuff on most surfaces, shower flooded straight out of shower room into basin area where drain was blocked so made it an inch deep. i wouldn't have stayed there if i was homeless so if you have this property on your site (wotif, expedia, ect) id take it down if you want any sort of good review on your page.

Very budget motel would not stay there again
