Rolling Surf Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Rolling Surf this weekend! We stayed here over a decade ago with family a few times, and I truly believe the property is even nice now than back then. The management of the property seem to keep things really updated and in neat condition. Not to mention it’s a super easy to navigate car park, with heaps of street parking around if needed for additional vehicles. It’s a wonderful location, with great views and great food available from the shop fronts down stairs. It’s walking distance to ‘downtown’ Caloundra as well. The receptionist when we arrived Friday night was so lovely as well, she really set our stay off to a good start.

Clean spacious room. Close to Surf Club. Restaurants and fish and chip shop downstairs. Large pool area. Great surf beach.

The unit was very clean and the staff were courteous and friendly.

Amazing staff. Well located. Good sized room. The carpet was a little musty and the room was a tiny bit run down but we enjoyed our stay and will stay again.

Clean Private Great location

Great location and the apartment was fully equipped. Great for families. Having clothes airers is a great benefit. Room was a bit tired especially the bathrooms and couch, unit could use a bit of a renovation. The only thing we didn’t appreciate was the letter put under the door the day before checking out telling us we needed to empty all the rubbish bins ourselves and take them to the basement garbage bins. I’ve never had to do this in any holiday accommodation before. However that’s a minor inconvenience and it wouldn’t stop us from booking this place again and we would definitely recommend it as a great place to others. Thank you

Everything was pretty good about the property except the toilet paper was the worst we have ever used you get better in a public toilet.

Enjoyed my 2 days here. Secure undercover parking, 3 dining option right infront of building - direct access onto the beach. Apartment was clean and well set up. Rooftop access for an outdoor gathering was nice and the pool looked like good value too.

The resort is right on the beach front with surf life saving club nearby . resort is very clean and units are very family friendly . very enjoyable place to stay

Excellent except noise from an andjacent apartment kept us up until after midnight so interrupted sleep.

Quiet, comfortable, spacious.

We booked and paid to stay at the Rolling Surf Resort but when we checked in we’re informed we were staying at their sister site, the Meridian. Whilst the room was good and still had three bedrooms and a nice view it was not what we booked. They had emailed us in the week prior but I didn’t really take any notice because I just thought it was a confirmation email. This should definitely have been a phone call!!! The room was lovely (albeit dirty in some parts - windows even had a ‘clean me’ message written in the dirt and some of the blinds had mould on them). The pool was definitely not the same as the Rolling Surf and the property was not ocean front. For the price, it was still a really good room, it’s just not what I booked and I found that quite deceitful. With four children, we don’t often get away and look forward to the luxury of a beach holiday so this put a bit of a dampener on our time.

Great location, balcony overlooked a small path and then straight onto the beach. The apartment was well equipped and laid out, a perfect place to relax and unwind. Only negative would be the strict smoking policy in the resort, it meant we needed to leave the entire property anytime someone wanted to vape/smoke. Had I known the apartment balcony was a non vape area we would have booked elsewhere. Having said that the rule probably suits the majority so not complaining, just highlighting for future travellers

Our third visit to Rolling Surf and we love the location, so close to the beach, rockpools, playgrounds and lots of food options nearby. The rooms are so well equipped for families. We will continue to come back!
