We really enjoy staying here and have done in the past. The weekly loud party in Australia Square below is an annoyance though, and this time we asked for a room on the other side of the building. The alleyway outside the hotel entrance leading to the steps up to George Street was in a disgusting dirty state for the 2 weeks we stayed there though, and was only cleaned up the day we left.

Our room was available at 10am! After an overnight flight from LA, that was a huge plus and greatly appreciated.

We couldn't rate Rydges more highly. We needed a wheelchair accessible room with two beds and the staff were so accommodating. They problem solved and came up with the perfect solution whilst being friendly, respectful and helpful. We went on to enjoy a wonderful five nights right in the heart of Sydney . Everything was easy walking distance or public transport with restaurants a plenty. The breakfast at Rydges was excellent too.
