I stayed at 2-bedroom villa located at the rear of main hotel building. The room was new, clean, spacious and functional. Loved it and will stay again on my next trip to Kalgoorlie.

Our room was one of the best hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Spacious, clean, quite and comfortable. The kitchenette was ideal and the large bathroom well laid-out with plenty of space for both our toiletries. There was secure parking on-site and a restaurant. It was a 10 minute drive into town centre for shops and eateries.

Older facility - everything looks a bit dated. Mini freezer door inside fridge kept falling off, shower water pressure is terrible, bins were missed during room servicing as was replacing toilet paper, lights (all centrally controlled) were flickering so we lived in the dark until they could get an electrician there, room had 2 remotes but only one remote controlled the two old systems. And during the night the AC would turn off an the room would get quite warm, then it would kick in and the room became freezing. The 2 bedroom house our friends were in was great, but our room in the hotel proper not so much. The best part was the helpful guy at reception and the young woman in the restaurant

This was our 3rd stay at the Rydges Kalgoorlie, but first time in the Villas, which were really good.
The Villas are well set out, in great condition and really comfortable.
As always the Rydges Kalgoorlie team were really friendly and professional.

The food was terrible, the upkeep of the room was damaged and had been for a long time, it was ridiculously over priced for what it was, the aircon was filthy and blew cold air when it was on heater, there was wee and toilet paper in the toilet unflushed, the spa bath had a "this has been cleaned and sanatised sticker" or whatever wording along thoes lines and was full of dirt and hair, I filled it up with hot water and ran the jets and more hair and gunk was floating in the water, there was hair on the bathroom counter and floor and had been wiped onto the mirror, the grill was closed to "staff shortages" the couch was broken and uncomfortable. The light switch beside the bed has a hole in the wall under it. The tv chanels kept loosing signal. Should I go on? This is like the 3rd time I've stayed there and it's got to be the worst hotel I've stayed at every time.
