We chose to stay at the Sofitel Adelaide for the first time to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday, we booked a king suite with Club Millésime access. I mentioned upon booking, we had chosen to stay there for my wife's birthday, and they exceeded our expectations. The staff from Valet parking, reception, concierge and club Millésime were exceptional, friendly, professional and were happy to help with anything we needed. When we entered the room there was special birthday surprise, a bottle of bubbly on ice and a plate with a few chocolates with a Happy birthday message. The room itself was awesome, offering floor to ceiling windows with magnificent 180° views over the city, Adelaide Hills and the distant ocean. We stay in club access rooms regularly and we would highly recommend Sofitel Adelaide and club Millésime. Thankyou all for making our stay an awesome experience.

Tried to double charge us! We paid in advance via expedia, they required a credit card on arrival. After we left they debited $500 on the card. Luckily we picked it up and got them to refund after a few days.Apart from that the rooms and views are excellent although you may here some nightclub noise from Hindley street.

The venue's appearance matched the photos, and its location was a definite plus. The staff were friendly, however, room service options were lacking. Despite a pre-arrival offer of a kid-sized bathrobe, it wasn't there when we checked in, and the staff later seemed unable to arrange it. Getting ice proved impossible as all contact lines went straight to voicemail. Furthermore, our amenities were not replenished throughout our stay, and the replacement coffee machines both leaked.

Issue with staff having me on hold at 10.28pm until 10.31pm and then telling me we are too late to order room service. The staff member continued to tell me the website says last orders at 10.30pm and wasn’t interested when I told him the website doesn’t mention 10.30pm at all on the times listed for room service, it only says that when you click on the menu. I showed this to the concierge in the morning and he will pass it on. Otherwise it was amazing service but this person on the phone (10.28pm from room 1504) didn’t care.
