THE GREAT ATMOSPHERE!

800 a night and the spa bath emitted dead skin cells/biological material and dirt from the pumps. Kitchen had not been wiped down/cleaned at all. Complained to management who said they’d waive my breakfast and mini bar fees and yet still charged me $25 dollars. Never again, don’t waste your money

very impressed with the front counter staff who helped me check in earlier than expected so I could make some important business calls. Their efforts to try and get something for me 2 hours ahead of normal checkin was appreciated.

Nice with very big rooms. Possibly getting a little bit dated in decor. Clean functional.

It was advertised 5 star. It's not. Having said that it was entirely adequate for our needs

The king room was very spacious, comfortable bed and good sized bathroom.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is located in a very convenient location, with many restaurant options.

lovely stay and everything was easy

This is a charming, modern, friendly place in the heart of South Yarra. The rooms are nicely sized, the bathrooms well appointed, the common areas have a nice vibe around it. Staff are friendly and attentive. The Nespresso machine in the lobby is a nice touch. The location is excellent - right in the heart of a restaurant precinct. I have stayed here a few times now in the past few years, and The Como remains my "go to" place for when I visit friends in Melbourne.

The building is beautiful but no power points by bedside, old fridge that doesn’t shut unless forced, a bathtub with discolouration etc show aging. Bedside drawers have glass tops; one was chipped and I nearly cut my hand. The pool is small and you need to walk through a gym to the change room, which has rusty lockers and door knobs that are hard to turn. The water fountain had a mouldy tray. The reception staff said she was sick (!) and coughed; should wear a mask or pls don’t work when sick.

Bed was great and room was sizable. Unfortunately air conditioning noisy.

Stayed to recover from jet lag from Europe. Wanted a hotel that was quite with big rooms and comfortable

Property was very convenient to restaurants and transport. Staff were friendly. The bathroom was mouldy, rotten timber around door frames and poor condition.

Always a great stay - staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and comfortable, right in the heart of South Yarra. Highly recommended.

Great hotel and excellent value for money. Breakfast was good too.

The standards are slipping in this hotel. Its quite dated now and my room was not made up until after 3pm each day and that has never happened before. The hotel has no plates or knifes and forks if you order food in to eat from but they have cups and glasses? The hotel is slipping slowly but surely and i have stayed here on many occasions so do know this hotel well. The room i was given had a huge safety issue of getting in and out of trying to shower as the step out onto the floor is a major safety and potential serious injury issue. The bath tub had grime in the spa ports and has not been cleaned properly. I really like this hotel but it has slipped in their standards a lot.
