I appreciated the full attention of the receptionist when checking in. Another staff member arrived and politely and patiently waited until the receptionist had finished checking me in, before she spoke to the receptionist I commended both staff on that. It’s a little thing but it was enough to make me feel valued as a guest.

The room had a strong odour. It was like walking into a wall of stence when you opened the front door. I think maybe an animal had pissed on the carpet and the cleaners had tried to remove the smell unsuccessfully. Other that that it was a lovely apartment.

The reception staff were pleasant and courteous. Gained a room upgrade (thanks) as the booked room was not ready. All else was good except the internet connection. The original room connection didn't work, so an alternative was provided. However, this was 'supposed' to be better, but only one appliance could be connected instead of 3.

We had a one night stay for the footy game at Suncorp. I booked the two bedroom
Apartment and we were given a three bedroom apartment. It was nice and clean, spacious, and felt looked after. We used the hot pool and pool facilities, and found them nice and tidy too. The staff were all very professional, and lovely to deal with.

Our unit (1101) caused my husband and I to get profound hayfever, especially when air-conditioning was put on. So we had to NOT use the air-con and just open the windows. Overnight this meant we were woken several times by maniacs driving loud and fast down Milton Rd.
So I’d suggest checking air-conditioning filters and giving them a BIG clean, and also checking and possibly THOROUGHLY cleaning the carpets.
