Clean room, great breakfast, good location, Bus stop right next to hotel.

The room was wonderful, spacious, comfortable, and clean. The owner was very kind and courteous, and told us a lot about the history of Salzburg. We will definitely stay here again!

Cleaning staff were lax in the level of cleanliness; cups were not cleaned or changed once over a 4 night stay; table/desk were not cleaned daily; walking distance from train station but would not stay here again;

Great breakfast clean room

Travel passes were very convenient. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean and cozy. Great stay, would definitely return.

The room was spacious enough for the three of us (2 adults and a teen). The slightly odd part was the bathroom being up a flight of stairs with the rest of the space being downstairs, including the toilet. The air con was welcome and a mini fridge too. Nice to have tea and coffee facilities. Convenient bus into the old town and close to to the train station.

Great location, a 5 minute walk from the train station, plenty of public transport available, for which the hotel gives you a free pass. Very friendly service, the breakfast has plenty of choice and the room was spotless. Only drawback, rooms overlooking the street can be noisy but there is air conditioning, so one can keep windows closed at night.

The service received was excellent. Whatever the request the staff was always willing to assist. The room was very clean and air conditioned. A bus route stopped directly in front of the hotel. Several attractions were within walking distance. The only opportunity for improvement was the breakfast. There were few selections.

Staff extemeley helpful with information, breakfast good. Good location train station & sites bars food. Not far from river go to old town along river. Room was basic but I had picked this for price. Only issue was traffic noise at night but if went back would choose hotel again

Very well located with a bus station in front of the property which is very handy. Breakfast was included and was very complete and good! The only issue we had was that the property had limited hot water for showering so some of us ended up showering with cold water, but the host explained that it was an issue over the two days we stayed and had already called the plumber.

Close to train station and bus route. Pleasant 1.5km walk along the river into the old city. Excellent breakfast. Very modern but spartan. Always a few stairs even with the lift. Gravel in parking lot so hard to transport bags. No counter in bathroom.

Room 16 has the best view to the castle and mountains. Good continental breakfast.

The room was comfortable and clean and the property was cute. The breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. We also liked the accessibility to the train station.

Great rooms

While the property is nice and clean, we unfortunately don’t have a good experience as neither of us could sleep at night - the room has underfloor heating and the temperature control couldn’t be found. As the room was too hot, we couldn’t lower the temperature, and the reception was closed, we were left in a very uncomfortable room. We opened the windows all night and that still wasn’t sufficient to cool the room. On top the noise of cars from the street added to the difficulty of sleeping. In the morning we spoke with the reception and they said there’s a manual valve to control the temperature in the room. We still couldn’t locate it despite looking everywhere. The hotel also said they couldn’t offer us a refund and that the person who checked us in should have shown us how to change the temperature. Quite a pity that we weren’t able to sleep despite no fault of ours and the hotel didn’t help.
