The property itself is beautiful and in a perfect location.. you always feel safe here whether its 2pm or 2am i would walk alone down the street. The staff are nothing short of amazing! They made my trip the best part about coming to Barbados and I'll definitely be coming back!

Mostly quiet inside the property, while the action was outside. The sea at my backdoor led to some restful sleep lulled by the sound of the ocean.

This property is a very simple hotel with basic amenities. It is along strip of restaurants and bars and many other hotels. No beach at this hotel, the picture posted is misleading, its all rocks. The perfect place for a beach is Browns or Pebbles beach 15 min drive away...crystal clear blue water with no seaweed. You can simpley grab a public van for $3.50 a person at the botton of the gap entrance. My family of 3 used that daily. Taxi's cost too much!
Also, you should book the ocean view rooms. Our 4 day time here was what we needed, rest, beach and simplicity. If you want high end book the O2.
Best place to eat is Irie Restaurant and Socialites at the bottom of the strip..you wont be disapointed.

We loved our stay Rostrevor! The view was amazing, the location was central to everything we needed, and the property was extremely clean and cozy.
Rooms may be considered “outdated” by some, but the cleanliness and friendly staff more than made up for it. Never had a problem getting a lounger at the pool, or a taxi out of the strip. Only thing I would have liked is for the restaurant to serve dinner, they stop serving at 2pm.

With the exception of Verna the staff appeared totally unengaged. It started at Check-in. The lady at Reception gave the impression that we were an inconvenience. Unfriendly and annoyed that we were there. We checked in with another couple and they had a similar feeling. The grounds and landscaping were overgrown and grass was not cut until our 11th day on site. Our room was unacceptable. The sliding glass door's mirror finish was coming off and were spotty. Not properly cleaned. Door striker plate was damaged and the door did not close properly. The door would not close. You had to use the
deadbolt. Reported to reception but not fixed. We could go further but I don't believe it would matter. We have stayed on this property in the past and enjoyed it. Hopefully we will not have a need to return.

Staff was very unfriendly, with the exception of Verna in the Almond restaurant. She was very engaging and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone else seemed oblivious and disinterested.

The staff at this hotel were friendly and courteous. We stayed in the newer part of the hotel and loved the view. The room was immaculate. I think the furniture may have been a little dated, but it didn’t bother us. Kitchenette was well stocked. Overall, very pleased.

Excellent location in the Gap. Clean and comfortable room. One portion of the hotel does not have an elevator- beware if stairs are problematic. Thursday customer appreciation rum punch party was a nice touch.

Check in was excellend, we were escorted to our room and shown around. The rooms are bright and very clean. But they are worn and a but neglected. The mattress was too soft for my liking, but I'd sleep on a much harder one at home.
The outside area around the pool and sea was beautiful. Every room seemed to have a sea view of some description.
The noise of the nightlife was a bit much though. Thursday night/Friday morning we were still being blasted at 3am from bars across the road.
