A great overall stay in a wonderful hotel, staff very helpful, rooms are amazing! Only minor minor downside i found was a lumpy bed (on my side at least)

The room was nice, but they gave me and the person ahead of me in the check-in line the wrong room, which was frustrating for both of us. I booked a superior room which two queen sized beds, but they initially gave us a room with just one bed. However, once I went back down they fixed it quickly which was appreciated.

What an absolute delightful experience at Steigenberger. Location is central, and tram line is right at the doorstep. The hotel gives you a luxurious feel, the interiors are stunning and the place is spacious. The breakfast hall is huge and the food was excellent. The staff were absolutely friendly and supportive, 5 stars to the staff. Overall, a very pleasant experience 🤗

We had a great stay for 3 nights just before Christmas. The staff, location, condition of the rooms and breakfast were excellent.
We were disappointed after booking that we could not use the swimming pool with our children as it was adult only and an extra cost. This could be made clearer in the advert via Expedia

The property is quite old needs a renovation and facilities like a spa is an extra. This hotel is definitely not a five-star hotel beside of the location. I have nothing to recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived exhausted from an overnight flight. The front desk staff went above and beyond to arrange an early check-in for us. The room was spacious and beautiful. We will be returning!

I would recommend this hotel for the price but there are some flaws. It is very dated and does not look fresh. The rooms are better than the lobby. My check in was not the smoothest but not why I would give this hotel bad marks. My disappointment lies completely with the bad service, information and horrible attitude I got from the concierge. I don't know his name but he was completely incompetent, did not know the city at all and even gave me wrong information. He did not even kn ow the museums would be closed on a national holiday. That combined with his poor attitude every time I went to him for directions around town.
Breakfast was very nice but if you don't go early you will have to wait for a table. The lounge was small, not alot of atmosphere. The food was good but expensive.
Location is in the shopping area. About a 30 minute walk to the main historical area. I am sure the hotel had more glamour in its day but now seems warn and commercial.
