Pousada Bromélias

Loved the people, property, and price. A little concerned with the drive to the facility. If car broke down, there was a safety concern because we didn't speak Portuguese.

Loved the natural beauty of this place. Well worth the journey. The drive was splendid. The flora and fauna exotic. Very close to a spectacular waterfall and deep swimable natural pond. Also a smaller ones located on the property as well as the adjacent locations. Room service was prompt and delicious. Breakfast fresh and flavorful. Another dining opportunity nearby with french cuisine. The pool was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The Bungalo was very spacious and the private veranda enjoable.

A beautiful setting. Peaceful and idyllic. The bungalows are beautiful and the food is simple but good and all at very reasonable prices.

Beautiful place, excellent bungalow stay enclosed in nature.. Bit out of the way around 13 km from Paraty but worth it.

Great ambience for someone wanting to be away from city (the hotel is about a 20 min drive from Paraty). Only sounds are calls of birds and frogs. Only downside was Internet was down for most of our stay, but this may not have been the hotel's fault.

Lovely idea to build a this well maintained pousada in the forest, even though the poor weather was not ideal we greatly enjoyed our short stay. A lot of attention to detail, bungalows very nicely equipped and the log fire helped keep the inside cosy. Great breakfast (from 9am!), the only criticism is the hot water tank has low capacity considering size of the hot tub, the water ran out at about 25% full.

My brother and I enjoyed our stay here so much we extended our time and even came back on the way to Rio! If you have a car, it's no more trouble to stay here than it is in Paraty itself. The grounds were beautiful and secluded, our little cottage was homey, and best of all the staff were super friendly. The food at the restaurant was great (if a bit salty), breakfast was substantial, and the spa treatments given by Marco were so good that we each had two. We wholeheartedly recommend a stay!

If you are planning a romantic getaway in either Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, the travel (half way between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo...3-4 hours by car in either direction) out to this secluded piece of heaven is definitely worth it!!!!!!! Save your pennies for the luxury bungalow!!!! We stayed one night and it was the highlight of our honeymoon!!!!! We're planning to go back to Brazil just to stay at the place for a future anniversairy when we afford to stay more than one night. - in addition to the full bathroom, there is a huge jacuzzi tub in the room with bubble bath and robes included. - beautiful private terrace with a breakfast table and reclining bed that overlooks nothing but the rainforest (you can't see any other areas of the hotel and vice versa from the terrace) - Canopy bed and fireplace in the room. Additionaly, the hotel has a swimming pool, a waterfal bath, a sauna, an entertainment room, a reading rom, a full service resturaunt, and a full service spa. The hotel also arranges tours and excursions from the doorstep of your bungalow. The road to the hotel is pretty bad, so you may not want to drive out and back a bunch of times once you arrive.

Foi excelente. O lugar é melhor ainda do que nas fotos. Ficamos no bungalow com banheira e foi tudo perfeito. A Simone é maravilhosa. Excelente profissional. Recomendo muito a estadia nessa pousada no meio da natureza. Quero voltar já.

Eu (Júlia) e meu namorado nos hospedamos na pousada agora, no final de março. A viagem superou nossas expectativas! Em primeiro lugar, o atendimento é fora do comum. Esquecemos a pasta de dente e nossa anfitriã (Simone) foi até a cidade e comprou para nós. Respostas rápidas no whatsapp, todos os nossos pedidos foram atendidos prontamente. Quarto limpíssimo, todos os dias arrumado enquanto tomávamos café. Falando no café, a Doroteia era uma simpatia! Podíamos até escolher o sabor do bolo, ovos mexidos feitos na hora, geleias diferentes a cada dia. O pão caseiro dá vontade de levar 2kg pra casa rsrs O atendimento do restaurante excelente, pratos saborosos e com apresentação linda preparados pela Carmem e pelo João (apenas recomendamos que consultem o cardápio antes da hospedagem para se programarem financeiramente). A cachoeira parece uma piscina, com espaços pra relaxamento em frente, sauna... Fizemos massagem no spa e a Simone nos fez sentir tão relaxados que nem parecia que morávamos em SP. Silêncio, natureza, relaxamento e conforto definem nossa estadia. A pousada é bem isolada, então quem não for com carro, é bom se programar para ficar apenas lá (foi o nosso caso). Para quem quer ficar perto da natureza e se sentir em casa, lá é o lugar certo!

Lugar lindo, atendimento excelente

Lugar incrível, dentro da Mata Atlântica. Muito verde e muita natureza.A estrutura é bastente boa e de grande dimensão. Tem tudo que se precisa para ter momentos agradáveis. O Café da manhã é ótimo. A refeição no local custa em torno de 90 reais por pessoa, mas vale cada centavo. Deliciosa e muito bem servida. Os bangalos são confortáveis e completos. Área de piscina muito convidativa. Cachoeira dentro da propriedade é bem bonita também. Fomos muito bem atendidos e recomendámos a todos.

Experiencia muito boa, curtimos o frio com lareira e banho de banheira deliciosa.

Local incrível! Lareira e hidromassagem! Piscina e salao de jogos! O único ponto ruim era a Internet, fora isso tudo perfeito!

Decepcionante. As fotos mostram uma coisa, na realidade é outra. Logo na chegada fomos tomar banho e todo o banheiro estava cheio de pelos corporais do hóspede anterior. O café da manhã tinha pães velhos e diziam estar sem receber pães no momento. O espaço onde seria o “spa” estava abandonado. Os kits de amenities (shampoo, sabonete) nunca foram repostos desde que chegamos. Os cobertores não foram higienizados do hóspede anterior para a gente- usaram os mesmos em plena pandemia. A única coisa boa foi a simpatia de 2 funcionárias da cozinha. O resto apenas retrata um hotel decadente que um dia já foi bonito...

O hotel é muito bom, mas faz propaganda enganosa qdo anuncia wifi (nao chega nos quartos) e SPA (o OFURÔ é cobrado mas nao estava funcionando. A massagem tb é cobrada (preço extorsivos, acima de todos os hoteis que consultei). Paguei uma diaria alta, longe da cidade, acreditado num anuncio falso. O SPA é anunciado como COMODIDADE mas nao fala de cobranças extras. Me sinto enganado. Vejo que houve uma quebra de contrato por nao disponibilizarem serviços anunciados.
